@awf6554 Yes, the Abrams, as the US run them, can use almost anything ( exaggeration for effect ) to fuel the turbine version. However, the version delivered to Australia is a variant and not the same configuration the US uses.

@awf6554 Yes, they could do, but the variant is changed for maintenance reasons, not fuel use reasons. That was the point I was making from the start.

@bryandimery6509 Russia tried to use the turbines as the first excuse, but the world laughed at the obvious childish attempt to lie to get their way. So they went full tantrum child and broke their toys thinking it would make them ENTITLED to have sanctions lifted...but instrad now Russia looks like a crying kid with broken toys. Putin is desperate. Putin is flailing now. It hilarious.
