@mr.invisable6919 Leaving the ship at sea with COVID-19 ripping through the crew would have left it more vulnerable. Imagine what road blocks he was facing for him for him to have taken such a move? Are the Captains highly trained strategy experts or not?

@shrekwazowski8199 Sure, the right to do it...but that is different to it being right to do it. I am just saying he must have been in some kind of awkward position to be forced into that action. I am not going to kid myself into thinking we have the whole story, and this was his first choice of action.

@shrekwazowski8199 A ship's captain would know that - so how extreme a position was he in if he felt it necessary to take the action he did? What would it take for someone with that experience to choose to do what he did? I can't think he took the decision lightly. A soldier takes order, but a leader takes the hard decisions. He was both.

@shrekwazowski8199 I have agreed they have the right to do it. That was never in question.But I don't believe they were right to do it. I have addressed your point, but you have failed to even acknowledge mine. ...or are you giving a working example of the type of responses he was facing when trying to provide insight?
