They are free to ban him. Freedom doesn't mean a company MUST provide you with something. That's called socialism.

Not enough to vote him back in.

They only have the power you hand them. If you stop giving them your power, then they won't be able to use it against you. Don't let them convince you that you don't have the power of choice. Do you know why "My Space" doesn't have all the power?
2
@parthppopat How much cash did you give him?
2
It's just a blog that you can't even comment on. Calling it a social media platform, is just another ridiculous Trump claim.
2
@rahulsharma8940 A publisher can choose who they want to publish. When the government gets to dictate what content they must put out, and force companies to publish anything they want them to, then we have China and Russia. Free speech protects people and businesses FROM government. It isn't so the government can force media to publish their words. You are asking for authoritarianism. Be careful what you wish for.

@PoorPakistanisSurrenderwasFant A truly strong leader would still allow the freedom for the people to choose WHILE providing a quality education that allows the citizens to make intelligent informed decisions for themselves. What you are describing is an authoritarian.
1
@PoorPakistanisSurrenderwasFant Trump is free to say what he wants. However, forcing a company to provide him with the microphone isn't a thing. That's socialism.
1
@Doctor Strange MWB Communism? Wow. Stop using words you don't understand
1
@Doctor Strange MWB Any company is free to refuse service. It's called capitalism with a free market.
1
@PoorPakistanisSurrenderwasFant Do explain my hypocrisy. Show us your genius. I invite you to highlight the hypocrisy. Please.
1
@Doctor Strange MWB I want to learn from you. Tell me what I have got wrong.
1
@Doctor Strange MWB So rather taking up my perfectly reasonable offer to listen to you explain to me what I got wrong, you resort to weak attempts at insults. It isn't my level of intelligence that is on display here.
1
@_Mohit_Joshi I fully support India's right to do as it chooses. I would have no problem with my government doing the same, as an informed citizen.
1
It's a blog, you can't even comment on. Seems the Trump con is still working.
1
@rahulsharma8940 Free speech isn't an entitlement to use someone else's equipment.
1
@rahulsharma8940 I don't agree at all. I think you fail to understand the concept of free speech. Anyone can say anything. That doesn't mean a company provides a microphone and audience.
1
@rahulsharma8940 You are the one that is confusing the 2. No social media sites are impinging on the right of anyone to say what they like. Trump...or anyone still has Freedom of Speech. How is that so difficult to understand?
1
@rahulsharma8940 It's not up to a private company to put together his audience. How is it that difficult to comprehend. He has his own blog...so he can say whatever he wants. The social media sites only have the power you give them. You sound like you have handed over all your power. Who is Trump to demand access to a product? Just an ordinary citizen.
1
@rahulsharma8940 That is a completely different discussion though. Water, electricity etc have nothing to do with free speech. Even then...they can all be cut off. You can't just do whatever you like with them. They all have restrictions.
1
@marendranodi2693 Right wingers...patient? Come on. Let's at least remain a little bit sensible. You started with a false premise and went down hill. Not only that, you clearly fail to grasp my point. You can all yell your lefty-righty rhetoric all you like. No one MUST publish it though.
1
@rahulsharma8940 Now we go back to you not understanding free Speech
1
@swagdrago No, that is a monopoly.
1
@rahulsharma8940 I am not the one claiming oppression here. Wtf are you talking about?
1
Any can speak. However, a private company can't be forced to allow you access to their products. That would be socialism. That's why freedom allows them to choose who they broadcast.
1
@Necromonger69 Anyone is free to speak. You are not ENTITLED to access to a companies product. A government forcing a company to give equal access to it's products to all citizens - removing control from the private company - is text book socialism. Complaining that social media is using the power YOU CHOOSE to give them...well, that's a naive cry baby
1
@Necromonger69 If the government took over the social media companies, redistributed the shares so every US citizen has equal amounts of share, then that's communism. At least make an effort to understand the words you are trying to use.
1
@Necromonger69 I see it all. I see you have no idea of the definition of socialism, communism or the concept of free speech. ...and won't let that get in the way of you speaking of them anyway.
1
@Necromonger69 Stop handing social media sites your power, and then you won't need to complain they are using it against you. Freedom of choice. Puppet
