@marksalo2544 Putin knows they can only wield the power that people give them. If people can't stop willingly handing their power to these companies, then he will make it law. Putin knows people are stupid. No one is censoring me. I say what I want.

Wait. You want the government to dictate what private companies can or must publish. Is that right? Do you understand who the concept of free speech is supposed to protect, and from whom? Be careful what you wish for. The easiest way to remove civil liberties is to have the population ask for it.

Jhimly Jolly Sure, it does need to be stopped - if it is actually happening. But saying they do promote these things isn't evidence. Free speech doesn't mean a private company must give you or the government a microphone. It is so the government can't stop you saying what you want.

@Quarton Then stop giving them your power, and they won't be able to use it against you. No one is complaining that "My Space" is shadow banning them. Why?

@Quarton Free speech is to protect you from the government. It isn't a guarantee a private company must provide you with a platform and microphone.
