Or, maybe Russia would stop the invasion. I thought it would at least stop Russia from killing children...but no.

Afghanistan...that is an interesting one to mention. That's where the USSR went to die. Isn't it ironic

Ukraine is suffering because a dictator invaded their home in order to enforce his will with military aggression. They chose not to bend to his will, so the invaders now attack civilians and even Children's Hospitals
7
Same as USSR in Afghanistan. Russia in Crimea, Syria, Donbass. Let's not pretend either of them behave admirably.
4
The US crimes, doesn't stop the bombing of a Children's Hospital from being barbaric. That is a twisted thing to suggest.
4
Why? That is the choice of Ukraine...not you, or anyone else. To suggest they must bow to your chosen influence over them is pathetic.
3
They are all abhorrent. Let's not try to minimise what we are seeing with whataboutism

@gizel4376 We have access to enough information to know better.
2
@samsonr9975 We are blaming Russians because they have military forces bearing down on the cities and civilians of a sovereign nation. We blame them for the war, because they are aggressive invaders. I find it hard to believe you are not smart enough to understand that simple concept.
2
@AVportau Out on the street protesting it. We have been through this. You seem confused about 2 things. I am not from the US, so stop trying using US as if it is relevant. Second, and more pertinent to the point, US crimes don't make Russia's invasion of Ukraine acceptable or in any way justifies it. Whataboutism is a way to admit you have no genuine point
2
Does the crimes of the US make bombing a Children's Hospital less barbaric. What kind of a person suggests such a thing?
2
Who? The invaded person? ..or Putin. It seems that both have been isolated by this.
1
@Svenne-man-1880 Puppet government is what Putin wants to install by assassination of the democratically elected leader of a sovereign nation. Like a true facist dictator. Blocking access to independent media. The popularity of the Ukraune leader is why this invasion is being so costly to Russia.
1
@whitecrow984 It's not OK when anyone does it. Nor is it OK to use the example of one to justify the other.
1
@AVportau In the street protesting, as many Russian people are doing.
1
@AVportau Channel? I am not a content creator. That's a weird way to try to pass judgement.

@gamapokokompanchiro2156 Good for you. What's your point?
1
When you say Afghanistan, do you mean when the US invaded, or when the USSR invaded?
1
@bozo5632 Invited? And, well it did destroy one of them. Has the same feel now in Ukraine.
