You want to introduce species, to deal with introduced species. May I point you to the Cane Toad for further learning. All that without even pointing out the massive diversity of snakes native to Australia. Do you know how big Australia is? A couple of garden snakes isn't the answer.

In a plague like this, you protect your cat from the mice...truly.

Do you have any idea how much damage to the native fauna that feral cats do? They have destroyEd populations and even caused extinction of native species. Why do you want native fauna to be decimated? You shouldn't be using the term "fool" when defending killers of native animals.

@ianheart5587 Leaving the cats IS playing God with nature. The native fauna keep the ecosystems in balance, whereas introduced pests destroy it. No need to get angry, because you are embarrassed you realised you want dozens of species decimated, along with destruction of habitat all because you only considered one individual species, and got called out for the gaping hole in your knowledge.

Wales Eakes Yes...the plague of another introduced pest. Introduced pest create havoc...even the one's you like. All this conversation is about is which animal you think is cuter...mice or cats? Why are cats entitled to live but the mice must die? It isn't about picking a favourite.

Wales Eakes The black plague will kill your cat, which has to be better for it than being eaten alive.

Wales Eakes You should look up the videos of dogs cats and sheep getting taken down by this current plague. Again, a problem with introduced species running feral...much like the feral cat problem.

Wales Eakes I said to look it up for yourself...not take my word for it. You are saying general knowledge as if it is some genius insight - Duning-Kruger in effect. I am suggesting you look into something you clearly have no idea about. The videos are on YT...feel free to watch cats and dogs getting taken alive by this current plague of mice. I hope you are comfortable passing judgement from the position of thousands of kilometres away, and ever further away in your understanding.

Stretching over 1000km, from Bribane to Adelaide and... Ummm - Adelaide to Brisbane is over 2000km on it's own. ...never mind Melbourne and Sydney.
