 @mogznwaz Australia helped Europe liberate Europe from Europe, TWICE. Australia is a big part of why Europe looks like it does today. Australia earned the right to be an honorary entrant.

@kevinskiles2033 There is no comparison. Australia was there from the start to the end in both. The US joined late in both. Australia joined WW2 the day after France fell and handed Germany their first combat defeat. Then, once Europe was liberated and Europe was licking their wounds and deciding on a new world order, Australia took on Japan with the US.

@mogznwaz You are not entitled to have Aussies die for Europe based on that. Do you recognise the arrogance you just displayed? Australia is not Europe's servant. The ingratitude continues. France was gone, Germany controlled half of Europe THEY NEEDED AUSTRALIA.

@curmudgeon1933 Russia was invaded by Germany. Australia was never at risk from Germany. Only attacked by Japan. I am not sure the comparison is valid. I am not making a case for Russia
