So you think the EU takes their cues from the UK. Yeah...OK.
1
"Sports Direct" got out just in time then. Hmmm
1
Sports washing professional, made him a fortune. PSG and now Chelsea. Now refuse to call an invasion an invasion. Yeah...so respectable.
1
@sinpo8725 So just a few words on it, and you are satisfied with his on going, totally transparent compliance in sports washing. Don't expect others to have such a low bar.
1
@caioxlive1318 You do realise that the World Cup is the single largest sporting event in the world... right?
1
@caioxlive1318 The reason they could invent the Club World Cup was because there was no league claiming to be a World Championship. Saying the UCL is the strongest competition in the world is simply a statement of fact.
1
@caioxlive1318 No one claimed the UCL was always the best. No one even claimed the UCL was always the UCL. Was there a point you were trying to make?
1
How tf do you know? You just making stuff up.
1
You sap. He is protecting his assets. Is your ignorance genuine or wilful?
1
How do you know?
1
@rohitr9400 I know that now. I also now realise that no one actually said he did anything wrong either.
1
@NeonBuckaroo Calm down, bud. It was just a fact you didn't like.
1
Sheiks bet big and effect the odds
1
@HumanBeingsRThinkingBeings UEFA already found the guilty, twice, based on the evidence
1
No
1
@nigden1 Football isn't played on a stats sheet
1
@nigden1 Are you suggesting they do their recruitment by stats sheets alone? What exactly is your argument now?
1
@nigden1 Search this... "Opta stats most effective forward epl" I dare you.
1
"We will give you some money if you capitulate to all our other demands" Premier League.
1
@creepingbrain That 300 barely covers the horrendous mistakes that have wasted all of it
1
Such a compliment to Kelleher that people forgot how long he covered Alison's injury
1
@GermanChickenwing Neither Arsenal or City lost their number 1 keeper for multiple weeks
1
@awoogaz Good revenue? Hilarious
1
@philc1773 You remember incorrectly. They paid huge fines for their guilt. Is your misinformation intentional, or is it that you do not know what you are talking about?
1
@philc1773 CAS refused to rule due to a technicality where some of the evidence fell out of the statute of limitations. They were guilty but saved by a technicality. I can say they were guilty, based on the quote you personally gave, where they were given a fine - that stood - for the parts that were still valid guilty findings. They paid a fine for guilt. A legal technicality is VERY different to innocence.
1
@philc1773 They paid fines. Also, you seem to be trying to limit the discussion to only the 2nd time they were charged. The first time, they were found guilty and faced heavy penalties. Your propaganda is bad, and you should be embarrassed.
1
@awoogaz Yes, I see a list of sponsors that are nothing but a funnel for owners' funds through their own companies. Why? Where do you think the money comes from?
1
@awoogaz So I see you switched from denying it to justifying it. Seems you accepted the truth. I guess I have made my point.
1
@awoogaz Hating? Nah. No emotion, just facts. You, on the other hand...
1
@philc1773 I see you have limited yourself to the 2nd case again. Then throw in some attempts to belittle and hope it looks busy enough to baffle. Nice try. Your conflation looks desperate.
1
@philc1773 Just because the emails were gained by a hack doesn't make City less guilty. What a bizarre suggestion. Grasping
1
@philc1773 If City didn't lie and manipulate, then the hack would have found nothing. I am not sure why you think it makes a difference. City can claim all they like, but they are liars
1
@awoogaz Tell me again how it is going for your club. Have you heard the latest?
1
@philc1773 So more fines then.
1
@philc1773 Now you are flailing
1
@philc1773 Ah, so you switched from denial to whataboutism. That's a switch from claiming it didn't happen to an attempt to justify it. Finally acknowledging the reality, even if it requires some more flailing.
1
@philc1773 Still they paid a 10 million Euro fine for the things they were found guilty of. And their reputation will still take a hit based on the first case, where they were also found guilty.
1
Another face for sports washing should recognise the hypocrisy.
1
Yup...he can continue profiting from sport washing with impunity.
1
Talk about football when asked about football. A little humility wouldn't hurt.
1
@davecrawley4634 Doing the right thing due to failures in attempting the wrong thing isn't free of criticism.
1
@davecrawley4634 There are definitely valid objective criticisms. I haven't even made them, but they are so obvious that you have started justifying them.
1
@davecrawley4634 You had to resort to "one of those people". Your entire point is that we can't hold them responsible for their decisions because they were forced to change the real bad ones. I won't dignify that with the validation a rebuttal might give it. You know the valid criticisms...you already tried to address them without them needing to be stated.
1
@davecrawley4634 In your last post you claimed you had made points and I failed to make a rebuttal. Now you say haven't made your point, and you understand my entire point. Which is it? In a weird way, you have just admitted that although I have not listed the valid objective criticisms, that you understand them anyway.
1
@davecrawley4634 The made a decision to join the Suoer League. So strong was their commitment, that they had to pay an exit fee. Are you unaware of this, or hoping everyone else was?
1
@davecrawley4634 We did join Super Legaue...then pulled out. Prices were increased, and then reduced again. They did make these decisions, then changed their mind. You act like they gave these things a cursory glance, discussed it with fans and realised their folly. Well, that's fantasy. They DID join the Super League. To say anything other is either a lie, or you have no idea, what you are talking about.
1
@davecrawley4634 I never once mentioned spending. Stop arguing with your Imagination. Your script is broken here.
1
@davecrawley4634 Not at all. No matter how bad you want to use that script, or try to conflate it. That's why I never mentioned it. Super League is enough to prove they are not immune to criticism. I don't need anything else.
1
3:35 An all too casual turn of phrase that this guy might want to drop from his repertoire.
1
@mrwonderful0001 That's not how the Ballon D'or works.
