@georgestem2039 No. Ukrainians have defended their homeland from a Russian backed proxy war, that was meant to weaken the Ukraine forces. Instead, Russian backed insurgents provided live fire training for the Ukraine forces, turning them in to fully trained units, experienced in full combat.

Gas kept being pumped through the pipeline by Russia, as per the contract. So they continue to pay as per the contract. The gas already arrived, so they have to pay for it.

@thiphuonghoale9627 No one. Russia kept pumping the gas in the pipeline, to keep their part of the contract, so the EU must pay, according to the contract. Russia put it all at risk by invading a sovereign nation.

If you don't have a signed contract, and you call the gardener and tell them you no longer use their services, then that is your prerogative. It's not difficult to understand

@spherinder5793 The cutting of the grass requires payment, just as delivery of gas would require payment. Just showing up to a job and being told you are not required doesn't get you paid as if you cut the grass. You seem confused by the very basics of products and services.
