Germany really got itself in a mess with the energy supply. We thought Germany was smarter than that.

Maintaining the image of legitimacy for acts of politics everywhere.
26
Lex Fridman's podcast was the final tipping point. Watch for yourself.

@thatonechillguy2427 Needs a name change
11
She was not listening, and just waiting for a pause to read the next question. Let him talk...and actually pay attention.
11
@kajjebre That's a decision for those countries...not you.
11
It should have gone to Australia. Australia would make a great spectacle of the WC.
11
And yet, they are still kicking Russia's as...
11
It's a pointless pretentious waste of resources, even when not broken. All to feed egos
10
@hs342 The size of the country is irrelevant.
10
Striking a Russian ship built in Ukraine, with a Ukranian rocket built in Russia adds a whole other layer.
10
@DrMcMoist Ask again, early in the morning.

@awesomejob4209 What? Use whatever currency you like, because the value of that currency is measured in USD anyway. You just need to find someone that wants your currency.
8
@adamcraft9118 Why would animals rights fighters destroy the environment of animals, they need to survive? Your willingness to try to blame who you want has resulted in you not thinking your conspiracy theory through. Animal rights activists don't kill animals to make a point. Why do I even need to explain that? Just....wow
8
Think of a glacier like a tumbling river that is moving in SUPER slow motion.
8
The cage was indeed a pretty prison
7
@EarnestWilliamsGeofferic Xi just cherry picks the periods of history he wants to reference that suit his empirical aspirations.
7
I am just as sad for the ones that will be used to replace them.
7
Did Australia hurt poor little China's feelings? China is the one throwing around terms like enemy - Australia is just providing the materials China needs. Who needs who?
7
Watch the Lex Fridman podcast. You will find he says a great many things, and it isn't about that one thing in isolation.
7
China stocked up and now have stockpiles. They did with grain what the EU did with gas. By the time the EU realised what is going on, the prices have already risen and China alrrady has stores.
6
@trumpetisabouttosound9360 No. They have been saying they will, for the optics...but it's slow if anything at all. Australia got equipment to Ukraine faster than Germany did.
6
Why? Gas prices went negative yesterday. People were being paid to take gas. They will be toasty all winter.
6
@bdg404 Britain is tiny and ran the world's largest Empire. Australia is huge, as is Brazil, and both have natural resources to match Russia, and that doesn't make them some world leaders. You are clutching.
6
@SafwanNet Very well in the vast majority of cases. It is why there are so many students. With the numbers involved, as with anything involving massive numbers of people, there are unfortunately those that have a less than ideal experience, but this is not indicative of the majority. Why do you ask, and what does it have to do with the WC?
6
Is that what you got from this? ...or did you just see the title, imagine stuff and then hope your comment made sense? Hint - it didn't.
6
@mariahewitt9787 I am not panicking. It is an observation of a rare disease simultaneously showing up in very disparate areas of the world.
6
...eventually
5
Who said that? Are you arguing with your imagination?
5
And a case found in Australia today. How?
5
Same as schools, sports institutions, and any other large organisations with power.
5
@paraclete1236 Just another cult to the exact same imaginary friend... the false sense of superiority it gives is identical also. ...and yet, both cults claim that being a member of their cult somehow makes you special enough to put down fellow humans. Is that really what religion is supposed to be about?
5
@paraclete1236 Thanks for giving a working example of the false sense of superiority I was referencing.
5
@PlaYer-sn5or Is that like the agreement China signed that promised for HK to have autonomy?
4
Australia has been supplying China while they grew. I am sure Australia has something to offer Germany. May be worth a consideration.
4
HMSBlackPrince And yet, recently China was upset with Russia celebrating Vladivostok - and claimed it as their own.
4
@blackmantis3130 People don't just forget those who wronged them.
4
@mowana1232 Thanks for the description. We have the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) in Australia, which appears to be directly comparable.
4
@gullyside01 It is, but Putin is too scared to admit it yet. So, more lads to the meat grinder all for his ego.
4
@dreadfulbodyguard7288 Is that what you would do?
3
@trevortalbot4325 Of course it has to do with ego. How can you not see that. It is completely unnecessary, other than "look at me" value...for the company that built it and everyone that took a selfie, and everyone that over paid for accommodation to fund it. Of COURSE, it is all about ego.
3
@trevortalbot4325 The Eiffel Tower doesn't trap living creatures in an unnatural environment for your enjoyment. Wtf are you talking about? ...but yes, the Eiffel Tower is indeed all about ego too, obviously.
3
@rancosteel More compensating. No, I didn't see it. I don't feel the need to watch other people's measuring contests. You do you though.
3
@fishlivesmatter You seem to be confused by the definition of annex. It is NOT the same as occupied. It's not complicated.
3
They are those that can afford to leave...the middle class. That is why he is letting them leave for now. He doesn't want to upset the middle class.
3
It's a shame she didn't listen or let him talk
3
Like in Tiananmen Square?
3
@happymelon7129 The EU just didn't want their people to freeze over the winter. China, on the other hand, when using coal purchases to try to punish Australia, let their citizens go without power through the winter. Let's keep it real.
2
@saravana3061987 Lots of Trademarks for Ivanka in China. Do you know how hard it is for any foreign entity to get a TM in China?
2
Yes. Xi got upset when there was an anniversary celebration there a couple of years ago. He said he wanted to get it back.
