  2. China stocked up and now have stockpiles. They did with grain what the EU did with gas. By the time the EU realised what is going on, the prices have already risen and China alrrady has stores.

  14. China stockpiled grain like the EU stockpiled gas. Now China has already organised different suppliers and the EU is playing catch up. The EU was too busy doing their thing with gas, while China had time to concentrate on the next step.
