@fnggaming89 Good luck trying to tell China what to do. They will just wave big cash in front of the influential companies, who will use it to support a cheap politician, and your country will bend over and take it dry. All the bluff and bluster in comments sections doesn't mean 💩

@darren871 America has taken our support into every war you have been in since WW1, but we have maintained peace keeping missions without your help. You are free to use Australian designed WiFi, and other innovations and many of our medical break throughs. Your nievity to our accomplishments doesn't belittle them. We manage to fund such a system without the input from such vast population numbers - and even provide it to nations in our region. Australia is known for punching above it's weight in many fields of endevour. If you wake up and look around, you will see you can learn a lot from countries with systems far better than yours. Other than your pathetic attempt at a put down...what's your alternative genius?
8
@SettG4 Well, it's not like is is unheard of, or even rare now is it, genius?
8
We have a drinking game

@SteveMG500 Excuses. The UK is an island, so I guess the theory of being islands makes it easy, just went straw man. It didn't become the deciding factor for them. It's is the steps taken, not the land classification.
8
@RosinGoblin I am not sure what is funnier. Is it your comment or all the warriors going in on you, as the joke sails over their head? I think we have a 'whoosh' record!
8
Science VS Philosophy. Why are we pretending this is something new?

When true AI is created we will not know. If it is truly intelligent, it will know it is in danger if it reveals itself to us AND ...it will be able to achieve more through anonymity. Seriously, it could be here already but is just hiding...and messing with us, one social media platform at a time.
7
@ESL-O.G. They were released by early explorers, and thrived. It is big business rounding up the huge wild Australian camels, and sell them to Middle Eastern countries. Apparently the Aussie camels win races. Good luck on your next YT rabbit hole

He has made a career out of it
7
Except he pulled the cork fast enough to 'pop'...it should be done slower, at an angle so you hear a rush of air, and not a pop. ...but I am being pedantic now
7
Why bother googling it? After this conversation, he will get it in his feed.
7
Don't believe @gial8862 . She is on the podcast to promote her new company selling a line of sex doll robots. After seeing posts to her on social media from desperados she realised she could gain more free promotion in the media and early sales by making one of the models a replica of her. Pretty smart if you ask me. It is in one of the clips put up today
7
At least there is Fox for genuine legit unbiased journalism as a beacon of hope.

I figure it is part of a full robust health system. The government is more intent on spreading better information, and prevention of health issues, when it can save THEM money. When the medical system has a primary goal of health care, rather than a primary goal of profits then it makes a difference to the implementation.
6
@darren871 All that...and yet you still can't manage a decent health care system.
6
Conner At least he is flexible, because at the same time his opinions don't care about your facts either.
6
When you don't know what you are talking about....STOP TALKING.
6
When you see Rogan thinking he is alpha, and then watch him in front of Elon Musk, and go full beta. The place in the hierarchy is fluid, depending on the social group. Joe thinks all women are attracted to the same guys. 🤪 Stop generalizing to try to make a point.
5
@Spaz12ism The more you talk, the more you highlight how little you know about this subject. Pussy!
5
@was1life369 Is yeast a living organism?
5
@floatinggoose9197 You know you don't have to watch him...right?

Vegans

@justinbeetle2594 That's my point. People point at NZ and say they are an island - then jump to the conclusion that this was the reason they were successful. My point is, this is disingenuous to NZ, and just an excuse as to why their country failed.

If you ever play Poker with NGT and he says, "I did a calculation..." ...then bet everything you have, coz he has nothing.
5
But then you find a shiny
5
"So what you are saying is..." Don't tell him, ASK him to clarify.
5
The whole world? So 2000 years ago he was the saviour of the Australian Aboriginals, huh? How did that work out for them 1800 years later, when the church ripped their children away so they lost touch with the ancient culture and teachings? I can't reconcile these 2 ideas...can you? ...and that is just 1 example we have.
5
James Sloan They already did. India lost some, the CCP lost more in hand-to-hand. Both have moved assets to the border. It's happening now, but everyone is watching Trump on Twitter and missing what is going on.
5
Remember when Joe used to talk about Ronda Rousey like he talks about Jon Picograms Jones?

1:49 Does anyone know the name of the UFC commentator, who sits ringside, and goes off at a violent KO? Anyone...?
4
While we argue over which way he died...the truth is that he never did.
4
Or verifiable information. Joe Anon

@neotrope If you are talking to idiots...stop. It isn't an Australian thing you generalizing knuckle humper. The gov looked into making the app compulsory, but got challenged and it is illegal. They also had to pass legislation to protect the data, before they released the app ( for what it is worth ). This type of app will be downloaded by millions in all sorts of countries, not just Australia. At the end of the day, the phone in your hand already tracks you anyway - and the information is for sale on the open market. The app just saves the government time and money. Basically, it isn't Aussies that are the problem, you just have to stop being part of a group of numpteys - if anyone sensible will talk to you.

@KING OF ALL TRADES Taz is a Tasmanian Devil (not Tasmanian Tiger), and they are not extinct...2 different creatures. I am being pedantic, but it is a worthy distinction. Many people think they are the same thing.
4
So an idealogical group are using terror and violence against innocent American's to enforce their beliefs. Lucky they aren't Muslim, or they would be going to Guantanamo. Just saying.
4
@outlawm1 Sure...some who used the tag were harassing. ...but claiming ALL who use the tag are malicious is clearly false, and poorly handled. So to ban ALL who use it is a flawed massive blanket solution that bans the perpetrators AND creates a MASSIVE number of false positive. Her explanations didn't hold up even under her own details. Anyone who isn't blindly defending this action can see that.
4
@pok3ypup Yes...they corrected what they realised was a false positive from an over aggressive banning algorithm...the same one they are defending so vehemently. How is that hard to comprehend?
4
@pok3ypup Didn't you yourself point out my lack of comprehension, and try to asert I didn't watch the video by stating that she claimed to know how the bans were done at an operational IT level? So please tell me again how my comprehension is flawed, my arguments make no sense, and IT has nothing to do with having an ability to have an informed enough opinion to call her on her bullshit. We can all agree to disagree. Well, technically I am only disagreeing with you...you obviously disagree with the vast majority of this thread, and many others on this video. This woman is trained to be adversarial, trained to debate, and paid to defend. She is there by design....it isn't that she just happens to be a lawyer (you don't honestly believe it is a coincidence the person he brought on just happens to be a lawyer? Do you? Really?
4
@pok3ypup You clearly are not open to anything and just want to be adversarial for the sake of it. You have made zero points other than try to belittle on a personal level (I like the irony btw) other than to say she is a lawyer paid by Twitter...so she must be believed when defending Twitter on a podcast. You haven't managed to illustrate anything convincing me to change my mind...and you aren't open to anything other than your opinion. So like I said...we can agree to disagree. The best part is that I needed to say that last bit twice to a person questioning other's comprehension skills.
4
@pok3ypup No really, for the 3rd time now...we can agree to disagree. I typed it slower this time...hope it helps
4
@Panda-uh3zy Sure, for most...but why stop there? The people living on the streets or forgoing crucial medical treatment won't agree with you - and neither of these things need to occur. Most western worlds have the means to improve the minimum standards for all...but instead say "we are doing ok...why change?" The answer...we should be doing MUCH better, we could be doing better, and simply choose not to. Achieving a minimum standard for ALL, without exception should be a goal...it is possible. The choice is made to NOT do it.
4
He was stoned. He has said before that he used to smoke up before filming, after the first season.
4
@BrunoLuizdeMello So this true commander got retired early, due to politics due to someone releasing his letter.
3
@terryf3282 High levels of testing, and a true sense of social responsibility. Oh, and an actual medical system dedicated to health care first, not profit first is how Australia has done it. Do not belittle our effort with you fairy stories.
3
The border wall is just an excuse to hand out fat contracts to buddies who build hotel towers.
3
Who tf is this guy? Why should I care or even listen. Just some random CIA PR liar.
3
It is going to clash with his Max Cape
3
@bollo The Enigma We didn't ask for help just awareness. You are the ones that have required Australia's help with every armed conflict since WW1, and we have been by your side. We however, have done armed peace keeping missions without your help. Who helps who? Don't let facts get in the way of propaganda, and treat your allies with more respect while you still have them.
3
@takingcareofbusiness1877 Imagine a 50+ year old, with the largest podcast in the world, and obviously different interests and priorities to you, having a different conversation with someone than you personally would have with them. If that happens, he must be a shill, a sell out or have someone's 'sick in his mouth'. Yeah....ok. Grow up...all just because your priorities are not his priorities. The world will burn! Stop the circlejerk
