@TristanB361. To be able to live in their country, in their home, without another country invading, killing and enforcing a way of life upon them. Maybe ask yourself what you would be fighting for if someone decided military action in your country was necessary.

@UNCLEBILLYTEE I was specifically thinking from the Afghan perspective, who have lived this exact scenario again and again since the Otomam Empire - when they first got the title "where Empires go to die" But if you are taking it further, then yes, just like the English, the French, the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Romans - like so many throughout history. Why pick just the English?

@UNCLEBILLYTEE Now I understand why you chose them specifically. It is such a shame they didn't remember what it felt like when they had it done to them, on many occasions. If they did remember then maybe they wouldn't have done it to others. ...but if it wasn't them, then others would have tried. That is not to excuse or justify, but the opposite - to point out how prevalent it has always been. When will we learn...?
