Let's just find a negative in any proposed solution, and then do nothing. That will fix it.

@jonphinguyen Providing alternatives is much more useful. Unless you believe nothing could possibly be any better.

@orangeblood307 What exactly is the economic issue with his proposal, and what is your alternative? Why is it that things that are done all over the world are economically impossible in America?

@orangeblood307 I don't have a local Wal-Mart. I live in a country with health care for all, costing less per capita than you all spend on a far inferior system, and we have a decent minimum wage - with an education system that teaches us how to do all this without sending the country broke. Why are you so against improving your populations lifestyle? Do you own a huge multi national that will get taxed for it?
1
@orangeblood307 Do you understand the term "per capita"? Please stop claiming to know what I don't understand, while proving to everyone you have no idea what you are talking about. I am sorry you don't have enough faith in your own country to achieve what most advanced countries have already done. I remember when America used to believe it was capable of achieving anything any other country could do. What happened?

@DanielEBurnette Sure...Unless you are starting from a point of 'broken. I find it weird that people don't want improved education and health services...because they don't want to tax companies in the same way they personally get taxed.

@DanielEBurnette It seems we agree...mostly. I brought up the taxation thing as someone else was talking about funding - and taxing multi billion dollar companies, that currently pay little if any tax is a blatantly obvious solution. My original point though is that all people do is point out a possible flaw and use that to justify doing nothing - even if a different system with an acknowledged possible flaw is unquestionably better than what is in place now.
