  1. 2:52 So he is saying that Autism is an evolutionary leap happening before our eyes in real time. Now cities are established, people don't need the social skills to build them, as we have in the past, so evolution has deemed this less necessary. We now need minds that prioritise other things over social interactions, so evolution is driving us in that direction. Cities haven't halted natural selection, but instead have simply influenced it's direction by modifying the environment that evolution is adapting too.
