Trump proudly claimed ownership of the shutdown. I am an Aussie, and I know this. Trump getting work done, and then not paying is SOP for this guy. He is just being true to form.

Meanwhile, your President takes weekend trips to his own resort, rents rooms to secret service officers and his staff...costs the country millions, and makes a nice profit on the side....costing more than it would take to pay dozens (maybe hundreds) of workers for the work they have already done. Take of your blinders, and try being a little bit more clear in your observations. Too busy trying to score points to actually think logically.

@brandonrobertson5698 It seems you are not often right...but you are wrong again. They have tried to negotiate many times, by splitting the budget I to separate Bill's to get things working, but he is refusing to negotiate unless he gets his own way 100% - that is the opposite of negotiations. He is holding people's livelihood hostage unless they respond to his ultimatum. This is not negotiation...this is the act of a petulant narcissist. Quit while you are behind ....when you find yourself in a hole STOP DIGGING
