Rex2212 Look at the numbers of people who died of all causes at this stage in America every year for the last 15 years. You don't need maths, just an ability to read.

@ahorowitz15 If you need to overlay population on it then go ahead. It's not rocket surgery. Or are you intimating that there is some massive exponential jump in population in the last 6 months to explain it? I am not sure why you think it is so complex, or difficult to follow. It's a pretty simple and obvious thing if you spend a second to look, rather than minutes trying to muddy the water. As for NY being a travel hub - that is why the world thinks your president should have done something in Febuary rather than waiting. The fact it is a travel hub that got left open isn't a positive. It is a failing.

@stevemiddleton8387 Add more mud to the waters. It's simple - number of people to have died in the US by mid May, even for the last 5 years. You don't need to discuss variables of where or how. Just the raw number of deaths as a total will be enough for a child to see the variation.

I like the way American political parties have convinced the public they actually represent something different from each other - while collecting payments from the same places. They are both the same. They just split up talking points so the puppets argue with each other. Divide and conquer the public. ...but sure, fight among yourselves, while they screw you over year after year. Argue among yourselves - their divide and conquer plan in effect.
