However, if they had traveled all the way from the Gold Coast to that Melbourne restaurant for a meal, I am sure it would have shown up in the contact tracing. Even with this critical detail, you haven't convinced me that to say "Tom Hanks tested positive for the virus in Australia" is far more accurate, rather than adding a claim of knowing he contracted it in Australia.
