@valdacombs1904 Really? As a Boomer you don't know that there was public outcry across the world against the Vietnam war, and even the returning service people were attacked and beratted? You don't know of public rallies against the war, and public gatherings where people burned their draft cards? Seriously, you missed all that?

@valcombs6960 I am not going to argue with that...as my view on the issue you raised has NOTHING to do with my initial point made against the comment I replied to You appear to have got a bee in your bonnet based on a mis interpretation of my point. Ironically, you actually helped me make it with your latest comment. Thanks.

@mtb416 You seem to think you know something about me. Let's ignore all that and take any ambiguity out of my remarks...so you can all stop imagining you understand my perspective and proceed to tell my why your imaginations version of me is wrong. My initial comment was laughing about the initial context of the 'Boomer' meme - nothing more, nothing less. A 'Boomer' doesn't need the to be taught about the societal acceptance of the Vietnam war, from someone who used the 'Boomer' meme. That was all my initial point was. If found it ironic...nearly as ironic as your response. Nearly.

@fixedgearfever69 ...a Boomer would understand that. It is the younger generations that don't understand the way the Vietnam war was seen.

THE CONFEDERACY WAS THE ORIGINAL SHITHOLE COUNTRY Mate, you can't even understand the point I am making - I can tell when your argument against has NOTHING to do with the point I am making. You are too busy being 1 side against the other to recognise a nuanced point.

@mtb416 I consider myself to be laughing at someone trying to be funny with the 'Boomer' meme, and failing badly. You can't call someone Boomer and then assume they need educating on the changing Vietnam War sentiment over time. The rest was a bonus...
