Sounds to me like you have the idea for a successful 'clips' channel of your own.

How's this? He is telling both sides to grow up, do their jobs properly and work to build legislation. Maybe end the ultra partisanship. He got them to agree on something - they both hate that idea. Be careful what you are aiming at.

On face value, asking politicians to do their job and negotiate legislation properly, rather than vote blindly along party/donor wishes, on face value sounds like a good aim, despite any ulterior motives. It seems neither party like that suggestion to me.

@tethergobrrr Divided and Conquered. He is just pointing it out. You are perpetuating it.

@Herkimer Snerd I am not putting him on any pedestal. I am objectively acknowledging that this particular issue has merits and both parties appear to be against this idea. On this issue, the point being made should not be beaten down by said pedestal all because you may not like his motivation. They also made an interesting point. The Democrats wanted him there and now they want him to jump - which is the exact thing you are accusing him off. It seems you may be more upset that he is not jumping when you want him to. Please don't assume I have him on a pedestal simply because I think on a single issue he actually has a point. It's not like I am silly enough to assume everything he says is either 100% good or 100% bad based on some predetermined factors. What sensible rational person would do that?

@danielhill9080 There are many who are corrupt. That's what happens when you legalise corruption. Let's not pretend he stands alone in that. You are just pointing at him because he won't do what you want. Your bias is strong. Now the show is questioned as well. Do you know what it is you are even watching?

@danielhill9080 You most definitely implied that his corruption was worthy of highlighting above anyone else...because it suits you now.

@tethergobrrr No. Politicians need to do the job they applied for, and not the bidding of party and/or donors. They have a common goal...the country they were elected to run. Let's not pretend the things you accuse "the others" of isn't rife on both sides. THAT'S HIS POINT. The Democrats needed him and are upset he isn't jumping when they want. It appears they have no problem with people making him jump, as long as it is them doing it. He has a point, no matter how much your hyper partisanship blinds you to it. Assess the point he is making on it's own merits, without bringing in your preconceived unrelated rejections.

@shaunsocha421 Being one step behind, but walking along the same path is nothing to be celebrated. If only someone - even if it is for the wrong reason - tries to point out the correct path.

@tethergobrrr There are 2 sides to that coin.
