  1. Russia wants the end of NATO. It is an existencial threat to Russia. The Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact represented security for Russia. It was created as a counterweight to NATO. NATO's mission is regime change in Russia, break it up like NATO did in Yugoslavia and Libya and Afghanistan. Russia will always be in danger as long as NATO exists.
