The Ukraine military trained and armed by NATO and the genocidal war in Donbas and Lugansk, and the infiltration of the Ultranationalists in the security forces of the Ukraine, and the failure to implement the Minsk Agreement ratified by the UN was the provocation. Russian speaking Ukrainians see Russians as liberators just like the people of Crimea.
