  1. ⁠ @lakiiamccall3051 Yes one could have. But a tip is optional and not mandatory. And just like in life, you will meet big tippers, small tippers, no tippers, mean people, nice people. Personally I would’ve gave him more than $2 as that’s the kind of person I am. But if you expect everyone will be like me, it’s best to find another job.

  4. While it’s awesome the officer gave him $15, he wasn’t just all talk and he put his money where his mouth is, it’s over the top to create a GFM for this incident. The job involves where you will get a big tip and sometimes you’ll get little. Maybe the customer couldn’t afford to give a big tip.

  5. ⁠ @erichross672 No no no. Waiter or delivery driver is getting paid to do the job when they serve me. There’s no legal condition that to serve me I must give them extra on top of their pay. Me giving a tip is a bonus of being a nice person. But do not expect it from me every time or from everyone else.

  6.  @sharongrubb You are getting a salary from the company. Even as someone who tries to tip big, y’all are outrageous at expecting a big tip from every customer. It’s not all about you, the customer could have money issues too. They already paid for the product.
