Usually people are thankful for your help/support. At least I've witnessed it on several channels/occasions. Maybe you should call yourself Weldo now? 😁 ;-) I'm just kidding of course. 2) I really don't know why some viewers think that MIG/MAG welding thick material would/could cause problems. After all one can setup the device for deep penetration. For instance a friend of mine built and remodeled several steel yachts using only MIG since decades. He also fabricated several sturdy pontoons and the complete steel structure for his second floor in his big workshop (welding a lot of I- beams which we call double T- beams in Germany). 3) Okay, double shielded flux core welding sounds and looks smoother but is definitely more expensive and more labour intensive because the slag has to be removed. To be one the safe side additionally with a manual wire brush or even using a drill with a wire brush. Otherwise one risks that primer/paint will not stick. So I still stick to MIG/MAG welding.   4.  @ZILAwelds  Sehr geehrter Herr Zila. Vielen Dank für ihre Antwort. 2) In Deutschland wird es normalerweise respektive üblicherweise einfach nur Schutzgas- Schweissen genannt (MIG/MAG wird im Sprachgebrauch eigentlich kaum benutzt). Viele Grüße, Glück und Gesundheit im Besonderen.
