It's me, Jackass. You can't be that stupid??? Then again... A executive order is not law, only congress can make it law, which they haven't done. The judge can't even enforce his ruling, even if the Trump administration doesn't appeal, but I am sure the administration will appeal, because if goes before the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court does rule on law, and they will have no choice but to destroy DACA, which is a huge win for the Trump administration, because that means the next president no matter who they are can't restart DACA. Remember this, blind hatred is what Trump and others pray upon, and in a sense, the judge ruling based on hatred only help Trump to destroy DACA once and for all.

Daniel Smith. We are now a sovereign country, with set rules and laws to abide by. As a country we should be able to determine, or allow what comes into our country, like you decide who and what comes into your home, because I am pretty sure you have locks on your home and I would dare to say you use those locks. Did you know at one point that almost 80% of the country was against any form of amnesty for illegal immigrants, and you know at such a high percentage rate that a lot of those people were in fact minorities that were against amnesty also. "So where is the racism there?" While you talk about history, you seem to forget that there has never been one country in the long run that has ever benefitted from illegal immigration, in fact many countries including the Roman Empire, it actually helped lead to it's downfall over illegal immigration. Anybody that pulls the race card at this point, is as "George Ramsey" put it, is a "moron."

It's me, Joolz. Okay I will be polite and point out maybe you should learn about our country's laws, because if you can't figure out that the president doesn't make laws, only congress makes laws, then I actually feel sorry for you. The Supreme Court doesn't base their decision upon emotions, they base it on law, and since DACA is not law, they will terminate it permanently. Look, I hate to tell you this, but the judge ruling actually benefitted Trump, because it puts a lot of pressure on the Democrats/Republicans to save DACA before it goes before the Supreme Court, which means they either give Trump the wall, or they give DACA folks the middle finger. Now even know I support Trump, I also know he is an evil genius, who knows how to put the squeeze on others before they know it, and I definitely would not want to go up against him because of it. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised the judge was in on it...

The Watchful Hunter. First off do you even know anything about commercial trucking? Right off the bat, it is Federally regulated, the states only give you the DL to drive, but the feds run the show, and the feds are very serious about following regulations and usually most trucking companies stay within federal guidelines, meaning the front axel on tractors usually have new tires, not retreads like the rest of the tractor and trailer does. If that is not enough for you, both states and feds run checkpoints, and even weigh stations do inspections, which I have been personally shut down for just minor things such as a loose bolt on a air-tank. The odds are this was just one of those rare occasions that the driver was not at fault, because most of the time it is the drivers fault. This accident is just comes down to the old saying of "shit happens," and there is nothing anyone could have done to prevent it.

@nandansho . <<< Another Democrat full of crap. Obama never pulled the U.S. out of the recession that Bill Clinton caused by signing NAFTA and Congressional Democrats pressuring loans that caused the housing crisis. Obama in fact made the recession worse than it was under Bush. Replacing lost manufacturing jobs with service industry minimum wage jobs got us out of the recession? LOL. Ike was an idiot, that dumped Vietnam on JFK, duh! Roosevelt did not win WW2, it was technology that won the war, radar, sonar and of course the atomic bomb. People like you just glance at history, but never really study it, Roosevelt, Truman, and Ike royally fuked up by creating the cold war, when really intelligent men like Patton and Churchill wanted to get Russia when Russia was down after WW2. Had we done what Patton and Churchill wanted to do, there might have not been the Korean Conflict or Vietnam, and no arms race. There is a difference between just being liberal and one being a liberal moron.

D Sanchez. Because the NFL players are disrespecting the country as a whole, which when others watch, actually tells them that they don't have to respect others, or even themselves. I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and most us got our first gun when we reached the age of twelve, with ammo no less. None of us even considered shooting others, in fact we were more worried about screwing up and getting our guns taken away as a form of punishment. The difference back then was our parents taught us to respect others, no matter whether you agree with them or not. What a lot of these kids are doing today would have embarrassed our parents to the point that we would get our butts blistered, "for starters." We were surrounded by guns, in fact most families actually had stand up glass display cases in the living with either no lock, or a cheap lock that anyone could easily open, but we were told not to touch them, or god help us, and our parents meant it. It is not a gun problem, it is the lack of respect we are showing towards one another nowadays, and the NFL players are making it worse, not better... I want you to take another look at the First Amendment, and then the Second Amendment. Why do you think the Second Amendment follows the First Amendment? Here is why, "It is true, the pen is mightier than the sword, but without the sword, the pen no longer exists." Think about it, our founding fathers knew exactly what they were doing, and how to keep the people in control of their country by giving them that special right.

Don't you remember we gave them U.S. jobs on the promise that it would slow illegal immigration, well NAFTA failed, and millions of hard working U.S. citizens lost jobs, while inflation continued to rise. There is only so much we can do for Latin America and the rest of the world for that matter. Please look up United States history, and you will find that our country faced many hardships. My own grandmother told me stories of growing up in the coal fields and watching union representatives that were trying to bring in the union into the coal mines, being killed and seeing their bodies being dragged down the streets so to intimidate others who might be thinking of joining a union. Unfortunately for change, Latin Americans will have to face a lot of the same horrors our own ancestors had to deal with, there is just no getting out of it, if they want to make their countries better. Latin Americans have to stop running away from their problems if they want to make it better, but they refuse to do that, so now Trump will have to force them to face their problems.

juanloko2. You hard headed there kid? Word of advice, you better learn what side your toast is buttered on, or you in for a very rough ride in the game of life. You can't ignore people in authority, it will get you into trouble each and every time. Philando mistake was ignoring authority, and he most definitely paid a steep price for it, but that is the chance you take when you ignore authority. I can tell you the jury had no choice, but to rule in the cops favor, because of Philando's own girl friend video saying he was reaching supposedly for his wallet, and Philando's own reply to the officer of not reaching, when he was most definitely reaching after being told not to. Why is it a jury can see this, and you can't? Is it because you hate cops? Hate anyone in authority? Hate rules/laws? I would suggest not joining the military, but then again the military would help you straighten your problems out, hopefully?

Gary Robinson. "Trump is employing nobody," "WTF?" Apparently you need to get out of your parents basement, and get a job, to find out when your BOSS says jump, you jump you then ask how high? And that Gary is how the real world works. By the way, ordinary people that actually have commonsense, and even a little bit of business knowledge can tell you don't walk into the lions den and start threatening the lions, without something to barter/negotiate with, and you better have people that are capable of bartering and negotiating, or you be up the creek without a paddle in no time, and that is the reason Trump is hiring these people. I think you are one of those wall street protesters that in the end achieved nothing, so now you mad and want to walk in and start slapping people around, never thinking for a minute about the consequences of it.

warpedjaffas1. "Trumps been exposed by his own bad practices and trying to smear the Judge in order to distract from what really happened ." "Trump fleeced Americans." "Simple???" First off the Judge, has admitted his involvement in La Raza, and we are not talking about the cocktail party group either. Second what the Judge did by releasing the information was completely unethical, and even he tried at one point to stop it. About the fleecing, have you even bothered to listen to any of the folks complaining? None of them strike me as being very bright, and maybe they just could not comprehend the course? I have met a lot of people in life, that are good people, but unfortunately they will never be doctors, lawyers, or engineers and etc.. Maybe that is why the judge released the information because he knew they would never be able to convict Trump, and this was his chance to get Trump...

Dang, look at all you dumbasses commenting in response. First off had you paid attention to Jeff Sessions speech, even he said that DACA created or has caused a crisis at the border, meaning all the children coming up from Latin America, or have you people forgotten the controversy over that? What in the hell is wrong with you people, you can't put two and two together? The smartest thing you people can do is keep your stupid mouths shut and weather the storm, because all you will do with your stupidity is make it worse by turning more people against you. Trump did the right thing, unlike Obozo, he threw it back to Congress, which now puts pressure on Congress to finally not only deal with DACA, but also illegal immigration. Odds are, Congress will probably give amnesty to all currently on DACA, but not without doing something to keep this from happening again, it is that simple.

@dihe1392 . Take a economics course and apply what is taking place today. Homeless are growing, not getting smaller. Rents are already skyrocketing, now adding more people will only cause rents to go up further. They are not doctors, scientist, or engineers, they are toilet cleaners, shovel holders and etc.. We already have plenty of people to do that kind of work, so economically they are not a positive, but a negative economically. Then there are still companies closing and leaving the country, leaving thousands of unemployed, while Boeing screwed up royally which will probably cost Boeing employees and suppliers to lay off thousands of workers. There are a lot of other factors to list, but none of them have anything to do with racism either. Even Left news organizations are starting to call out the Democrats for their handing of the border crisis, meaning even they are starting to see the disaster unfold.

Darkstar Archangel. I going with the Hippie/Liberals deciding how parents should raise their kids that are at fault. Don't spank the kid. Don't punish the kid. Don't threaten the kid. Just let them run wild, and hopefully they will learn respect for themselves and others, somehow... When I was growing up, most families I knew through friends had gun display cases in their living rooms with the ammo nearby or even in a draw connected to the display case with either a cheap lock, or no locks at all. We were told not to touch them, and if we did, god help us, and they meant it. How about this, my father told me, never ever hit my little sister or he would kill me. I had to ask my father, what kind of death did he mean, he explained that my mother can visit my grave in the backyard and bring me flowers kind of dead, "I was actually hoping for a bad spanking, "oh well." The fact is, I never ever hit my sister, no matter how mad she made me. I believe respect and responsibility has to be taught, and sometimes with an iron fist approach.

@jannettsnow1828 Jannett Snow. You do know there is no such a thing as Native American, "right?" I mean this has been proven now scientifically with DNA testing, they are basically Asians. Then before you talk about stolen land, the United States was inhabited by groups, with no form of union, making it not a country, but basically squatters with no functioning government. We are now a government with borders and illegal immigrants hurt the country as a whole, the majority are incapable of supporting themselves, they are abused by employers, like I knew some that worked way over 40 hours a week and all they got paid for was 40 hours. One guy worked 8 hours on Saturday every week for free. One garage owner worked a guy for two weeks without paying him and then called out ICE and got out of paying him. You can't tell me you support this kind of crap do you? Then to add insult to injury the taxpayer gets the bills for all this crap... Why should the taxpayer get stuck paying the bills for the rich cheap slaves? You people complain about Trump's tax cuts, while ignoring getting ripped off by the rich's cheap slaves… Did you know that produce is consider to be in the top ten rip offs to consumers? If you don't give a rats A$$ about turning the country into another third world cesspool, then it is you that should leave, because you are just another filthy yellow belly traitor to your country.

TheFemaleCritic. When they kneel they are not only disrespecting whites, but also Native Americans, Asians, Hispanic and last but not least there own people that served and died for the country... I don't think you will ever understand, there is a time and place for everything, and being in uniform while being on the field, which makes them currently employees of a company or owner, is definitely not a plus for equal rights. I am so sure of this, that if MLK was here today, he would be begging the players to stop this, because it only benefits the racist and casts a terrible light on all minorities.

Lets see... It is not uncommon for teenagers to say stupid things, "right?" She kept a knife and pepper spray on her, which for most young women doesn't seem like a bad idea for self defense, and considering that most can't separate that she is not her brother, and would harm her if they could get away with it, to retaliate against her for what her brother did, seems only logical to carry some form of protection, "right?" Considering she only had marijuana on her which is kind of surprising considering having to live life after what her brother did, I kind of expected a lot more serious drugs to be found on her... I don't see any hate here and I most definitely don't see how you can improve upon her life, because she will always have to deal with what her brother did, and basically live a life of shame whenever others discover it.

Nava Chetia. The weapon of choice for most murders are handguns. Reasons: Easy to conceal. Many variations on semi auto magazines capacity. Even revolvers have speed loaders. Ammo much smaller, making it easier to carry, and carry a lot more than rifle cartridges... Revolvers rarely jam, and semi auto handgun jams can be cleared in the matter of seconds compared to most rifles clearing jams. Last but not least, they are easy to disassemble and toss compared to rifles, meaning you could go on a shooting spree toss the gun in a trashcan, or bushes and etc., and very well make an escape without getting caught. By the way, in the last century it is estimated that over 50 million people lost their lives because they were unable to defend themselves, and the worst part, many lost their lives at the hands of their own government. I would imagine the 17 that died at that Florida High School would willing grab an AR-15 if you could give them a second chance at life, "wouldn't you agree?"

+Krispy Kream Their ideas for progress is either becoming socialist or continue down same old road. First off, we live in a capitalist country, and Bernie will not get Congress support, and that is also coming from leading Democrats in Congress. That makes Bernie a lame duck for the next 4 years, and probably one of the worst Presidents in the history of the United States. So voting for Bernie is equal of throwing your vote into a trashcan. Hillary??? If you remember correctly it was her husband that got us into the global economy before we were even near ready for it, by signing NAFTA. What I have always found interesting, is that people blame Bush for everything, when in fact it was Bill Clinton signing NAFTA that started shipping our manufacturing base out of the country. Now we have the Pacific Trade BS, do you honestly trust Hillary with that? Let me put it bluntly, we cannot afford another NAFTA, it will be the end of the United States as we know it. They are both clowns, but unfortunately they are not a laughing matter if either one of them gets elected.

+MusicCollaborator "Also, America is not a business, it's a country?" Excuse me, it is a "capitalistic" country, and because of that, the wealthy mostly call the shots, whether you like it or not. Trump has a plan that will get our economy on the fast track, that involves not hurting anyone except for maybe illegals. Now you call Trump dangerous, well if that is the case, then that makes Bernie even more dangerous. Do you honestly think the wealthy are going to put up with Bernie? No, they already know Bernie needs them a lot more than they need Bernie, and they will use that against him to back him down, if Bernie doesn't back down, well you know what will happen next. By the way, because of Clinton pushing us into a global economy before our country was ready for it, I do in fact fear the wealthy, because they are now more in control than they were 20 years ago. They can turn our country into a third world cesspool overnight and there is very little any of us can do about it, including Bernie, or for that matter even Trump. You go ahead and vote for Bernie in a global economy, and I can guarantee you that you along with the rest of us will be regretting it for a very long, long time to come, because there will be very little recovery from it, because our backbone, the manufacturing base is gone, and it is not coming back anytime soon. That means our country cannot support the kind of changes Bernie wants at this time.

Hhaze. "The officer did not give Philando enough time?" Are you serious??? Hmm, I guess you have forgotten Philando answering verbally the officers order to stop reaching... That means Philando fully comprehended the officer's order, and yet continued with his actions of reaching for something. Now what is the officer supposed to do at that point, get down on his knees and start praying Philando doesn't pull a weapon and shoot him? You know what I am sick of hearing, you people making up excuses for disobeying authority and then having the attitude you shouldn't be held accountable for disobeying authority. We are supposed to be living in a civilized society, where we take our beefs with others to court, not fighting with law enforcement out on our streets. How hard is it to comply with a officer orders, especially when you completely understand the officers orders? If Philando was hard of hearing, then I could actually feel for him, but he apparently understood the officers orders and even verbally answer him, yet kept reaching. By the way, Philando wasn't tied up in the seatbelt, or his death would have shown it by his arms not being outreached. On a personal note, I just don't get why people like yourself have to fight or ignore the legal system, because you know you will lose each and every time you do, and that is a guarantee. Philando is actually the poster for what happens when you don't comply with authority.

Still no evidence of Trump and connections with Russia, while Hillary's servers are actually evidence. Oh, I believe in climate change, but screwing in an LED light bulb is not going to stop it. It is overpopulation that is causing it, and yet none of you will admit that, you just want to waste more money on BS like solar, or windmills, and etc. It is like treating a twelve inch wound with a small band aid and the worst part, you want to penalize the average joe, and make their lives harder so you can feel good about making a small contribution, while the world is still going to hell in a handbasket.

Michael Kahr. Yes the liberal way of fixing stuff is to make it worse and why the Senate, the House and the President were all replaced last time with the Right. The reason Trump even won, is because your ilk are doing your best to turn the country into a third world sewer. The proof, a majority of Americans did not want the Syrian refugees for two good reasons, one you will never be able to be sure they are terrorist free. Two, no one wants to support non Americans, when there are so many of our own citizens living in despair. Now what does Obama do, he starts bringing them in anyways. Typical Left logic, screw all of you, I do what I want, and not because it is the right thing to do, it just makes you feel good, and plus, if anything goes wrong we will do the typical blame it on everyone else but ourselves.

Jay Kemme. I will be honest with you, I grew up in a different time period. Families including my own would have guns out on display with the ammunition with them in little more than glass display case which most of the time was unlocked. The difference is that we were told not to touch it, and when our parents said it, they meant it. My point is that if I threw a rock at anyone, I would almost pray to god they did shoot me, because when my parents got a hold of me they would have just about killed me for it. It is not about color or even someone's age, it is about teaching respect for others, whether or not you agree with them. Even a child should know wrong from right and when they don't know, that is when parents are supposed to be there to guide them. It is sad that you believe that people/children can attack others and others should hold back defending themselves. By the way, who told you it is okay to assault others, and then make it out like "Oops", I made a mistake and there is no immediate consequences for your actions?" Bottom line, I prefer to live in a civilized society where we take our problems with others to court, than act like a bunch of wild animals fighting it out in the jungle.

Jay kemme. "I'm asking you; if a kid does do it, does that other person have the right to kill the kid?" First off, most were not 5 year olds, they were teenagers, so stop the kid BS. Next, everyone has the right to defend themselves, especially when it is law enforcement is performing their duties. Can you imagine when children/adults start throwing rocks at border patrol or law enforcement in general, they would have to turn and run away because of people like you crying boohoo those poor stupid people and children... That is silly, you would have 90 year old great grandmothers throwing rocks at cops. Oh by the way, 50 years ago, kids and adults wouldn't dare go throwing rocks at law enforcement, because they would damn well beat them to near death. You don't comprehend that things have changed, because we have a total lack of respect for others and that is exactly why law enforcement has become militarized due to the lack of respect. Face it, people have killed over a dime bag of weed, and rocks can still injure and even kill others no matter who throws it.

Jay Kemme. Nice, job calling it "retaliate," when in a majority of cases it is called "self defense." You are right about they are not soldiers, they are civilians that don't have to wait for orders to defend themselves against teenage punks throwing rocks at them. Oh by the way as more of the story is coming out on the two border patrol agents that were injured and killed, it seems like rocks were used in the attack on them. So don't give me the BS that rocks don't injure or kill people. People like you want to turn our civilized society back into a jungle where you believe attacking others is okay as long as you can blame it on others, or you can say "oops" I made a mistake, but I shouldn't face immediate consequences for my stupidity. Still wondering what kind of parenting you received that attacking others is okay, because I was taught to respect everybody, and only get physical when others were in the process of assaulting myself, which is basically is called self defense, meaning I never threw the first punch. Seriously, you cry about law enforcement being trigger happy, when it is your attitude, and disrespect that is making them trigger happy...

@Johnichu11 . Okay, prove to me how the Z-Man took the law into his own hands because we all know only two people that can answer that question and the other fella is dead so we only have one which is the Z-Man but let me remind you, Z-Man had the physical evidence in his favor? Autopsy review showed that Trayvon Martin had no physical injuries in the altercation except for his hands being used to pommel someone, the rest of his body didn't show a scratch or even a bruise except where Trayvon was shot. While the Z-man had multiple injury's to his head, and no injury's to his hands.. That pretty much shows, like it did to the jury that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and not the other way around. So the physical evidence backs Z-Mans account, right? Let's tear apart your "following" being illegal or being ordered by law enforcement "not to follow." Put down the fuking crackpipe now, because you definitely don't know jackshit about our laws. You ever heard of journalist? Reporters? Private Investigators? Law enforcement? Paparazzi? They all follow news stories or suspects and celebrities and etc., and the cops can't say jackshit because they also do it. The best part is when the people being followed can also be confronted. Do you even understand people are allowed to confront you? Let me simplify this for you, I am walking down the street you are following me because you think I might be one of your old school mates from long ago but you are not sure? So you decide to catch up and confront me, does that give me the right to physically attack you and beat in such a manor that we could call it attempted murder? NO! I have absolutely no right to physically attack and when the cops show up they are going to put the handcuffs on me so fast my head will spend. Z-Man is no way in any shape or form responsible to Trayvon's death, Trayvon killed himself and a racially mixed jury agreed. Good luck refuting all of this...

Ashley Barlowe. Do you even comprehend why the Second Amendment follows the First Amendment, or do you just ignore that and hope for the best? Did you know that it is estimated in the last century alone, that over 56 million people died, because they were unable to defend themselves, and some died at the hands of their own government... While you pile on the God stuff, which I don't buy anyways, because our founding fathers knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote the Second Amendment, and it was more about citizens controlling their government than the government controlling them, which when you make that comparison of other western nations, you do realize most of those people are called subjects for a very good reason. They have phony baloney rights, that whenever the government wants to take those phony rights away, they can, and the people can't do anything to stop it. Is that what you want, to live in a world in which the government knows what's best for you? If you think the days of that being over with, then you are seriously ignoring the fact as long as people are power hungry, they will continue to take from others, even if it means taking their lives. But sadly I think eventually you will get your way in the long run, but I am also pretty sure, especially if you are young, you will live to regret it, because whenever people are murdered or robbed and were unable to defend themselves, it will be blood on your hands.
1
-
Ashley Barlowe. Wow, you really were not paying attention in history. Time and time again people have proven they can beat the odds. Afghanistan, Vietnam, just to name a couple, not to mention do you think all of our military would only pick one side? Sure did not happen during the civil war, in fact the South almost beat the North early on. Not to mention the military doesn't make the hardware, that comes down to civilians, which if some pick the other side, then it won't be a pretty sight. But being honest, I am not all that concerned about the government, compared to my fellow citizens. Ever been stuck in the middle of a riot, I have had to deal with it twice in my life, in fact after the first riot, is when I got my first assault rifle, now up until then, I had guns, but nothing that would handle large groups of pissed off people. By the way, how are you going to handle the thugs that you just empowered by making us sheep for the slaughter? You going to hire millions of cops to handle each block in cities, because that is what it will come down too? I feel sorry for you, because you never studied history, or you would know why banning or taking guns away is not the answer.
1
-
Both Vietnam and Afghanistan fought far superior countries when it came to weapons, but somehow were able to win. Also our founding fathers made sure we don't have to live in a doomsday scenario, by including the Second Amendment to protect people from exactly that from happening. Out of curiosity, do you know how Hitler rose to power? Germany was a shithole after WW1, and Germans began to lose it, Hitler promised the German people a way out, and used their anger to his advantage. While you point out how great the western world is, let me remind you, that those western countries people are subjects that have zero power and can do nothing if things in their countries turns to liquid feces, they are at the mercy of others. These subjects could overnight be forced into gas chambers, and there is nothing anybody can do for them, other than say sorry, you shouldn't have given up your guns. The Left is already beginning to open the country up to a dictatorship, by proving they are not tolerant of others through violent protests. I personally do not want a bunch of thugs telling me the facts of life while robbing me or worse, because you are afraid of living in a doomsday world.

@luisdominguez6617 You do realize there are already laws on the books about hiring illegal immigrants, but neither side is willing to enforce those laws and why Trump wants to build a wall to circumvent both sides of isle that are establishment sellouts. Democrats and Republicans have sold out the country long ago all in the name of greed, and this is why they are fighting Trump on the wall, because a wall they can't control and it effectively curves illegal immigration, illegal drugs, and cuts serious crime down at the border. How do I know this, because I live here in San Diego that built the fence along the border. Before the fence was built, border crime was out of control, illegal immigration was out of control and large amount of narcotics were being transported across the border just by walking across the border just about anywhere. After the fence, the border crime dropped significantly, illegal immigration was pushed out into our East county desert, and when it comes to narcotics, the smugglers are forced to use ports of entry. More caravans are coming, and the migration North will only continue to get worse, and those folks are going to become more and more desperate to get into the country, the border patrol can't hold them back with just a fence and barriers, they need something more solid like a wall, and even the border patrol supports a wall, and they should know better than most because they work the front lines, not some idiot actor supposedly giving unbiased information and calling it news from a teleprompter. While the media comes out and say all this crap that walls don't work, but when they get off work and head home they have walls or fences surrounding their property and locked doors, and when they go in, they lock everything up. They are for the most part hypocrites that don't even believe in the shit they are saying to the public. This is a pivotal moment in our country's history, whether we continue down this path which we all know will eventually lead to the whole country becoming a third world ghetto, or we try to protect the country by building a wall and at least say we tried, even if it fails.

@luisdominguez6617 Logic and commonsense rules that the situation at the border will never end, or even get better. Neither side wants to stop the cheap slave labor that is coming across our border because their masters want their cheap slave labor at taxpayers expense, and this is why a border wall is needed.
"No fence is going to prevent a thief from braking into a house." Schools build fences, mostly chain link no less, so apparently they do not care about privacy. Most government installations, such as military bases use fences which are mostly chain link "again, no privacy." Prisons have walls and fences to keep the convicted within. They built a fence on the border here in San Diego and it has done wonders to cut border crime and slowing down illegal entry into the country. The fence also made it harder on the cartels to bring drugs in, so they have to use other methods or take a risk at a ports of entry. Wouldn't you say that cutting off one loophole is better than leaving it open?
Border Patrol supports a wall, and they are the ones working the frontline, so I will take their word over some Lefty/Liberal dumbass politician word any day of the week. I am going to be honest with you and tell you, there is only two choices, we either build a wall, or we give up on the United States and open our borders to all, because there is no in-between.
1
-
@luisdominguez6617 Why are you not getting this? Our politicians have sold us out, they won't even offer Trump another solution, because they want the border to remain open, because the number one illegal immigrants in the country is Latin Americans and that is a fact. The majority of them did not fly in, or drive across or even take a boat, they came by foot. Border Patrol doesn't incarcerate illegal immigrants, they catch and release so they can keep trying until they make it a cross. I know of one illegal that was busted for a DUI, they deported him, well after 6 attempts he finally made it back here. We have laws on our books against employers hiring illegal immigrants, yet our government refuses to prosecute these employers, and then you have states like California and New Mexico that are throwing out the red carpet for them while ignoring their own less fortunate citizens. No matter what the situation is going to get worse, not better on the border, and I don't see any other way of stopping or just slowing it down without building a wall, because the people we elect refuse to do their jobs, which had they did do their jobs, there would be no reason to build a wall. All congress has to do is sour the milk, and nobody would be coming here. No jobs. No welfare. and no automatic citizenship being born to illegal parents, and that is all congress has to do to end Trump's BS wall, so why won't they do it?

Rex fromMN. You are talking about a legal system that has been turned into swiss cheese, and that is exactly why I believe in fixing and streamlining the legal system. The biggie is using professional juries in capital punishment cases, this would help greatly because most jurors would be acquainted with the process, and could key in on the actual evidence at hand in a case. Now when it comes to witnesses, I would only put so much stock in a witness testimony, while DNA, physical evidence, and of course now with more and more video, I would put way more stock in those in comparison of a witness word of mouth. After that I would go by criteria, how much evidence is there, like I couldn't give the death penalty to someone on just word of mouth alone, but say two things are met, say physical and DNA evidence then I would call that "dead to rights," no pun intended, but I would consider that overwhelming evidence, and there should not be any appeals. See the thing is, is you are talking about the current screwed up legal system, which yes it is a terrible waste of money, and needs to be fixed.

@UCCeZKS_qw4llt-tUxtOw7yg It's great, shows you what kind of people we are dealing with, the ones that don't have to worry about being homeless or not being able to afford medication while illegal immigrants get it all for free. Another one that gets me is people coming across that you are some kind of loser if you have to compete against an illegal for a job, I always reply to those A-Holes not everyone can be a doctor, engineer or a airline pilot, some just want to work and contribute to society, and they shouldn't have to compete against illegal immigrants in their own country. Sad times we live in, and unfortunately Pelosi will probably make it worst, because she has come out already declaring war on Trump, instead of trying to work with him. Even Border Patrol has said they can't handle a mass invasion with the current barriers at the border, and need something more like a wall and yet Pelosi isn't even listen to the people that defend our front lines.

@slushymatis Please, study economics, especially world economics. You are just seeing the tip of the iceberg, and you have to search deeper into understanding, and comprehending how dependent we are on oil. The dollar and oil are like a ham and cheese sandwich, they go together. If we tick off Saudi Arabia, and they get mad enough, they can switch from the dollar to the Euro. This will cause the dollar to drop globally, if other countries were to follow Saudi Arabia in switching over to the Euro, it could financially destroy our country overnight. Saudi Arabia has us all by the balls, and there is nothing we can do if they decide to drop the dollar, we are royally screwed like you have never seen before. Do I hate what took place, most definitely, but I am not willing to sacrifice billions of peoples lives for one man, and if I was the one murdered I wouldn't want you or your family to suffer the consequences because of it, because it is really that bad.

@slushymatis I am truly sorry you don't understand the complexities of how the American dollar is used around the world, because the dollar is very dependent upon oil. Any changes to oil can affect the American dollar. Oil is the banker, and the dollar is the currency for that bank, and the Saudis are not as dependent as you think on our military when they can virtually by any military in the world. I am not willing to gamble billions of lives because you think that our country is some kind of badass, because we are not as bad ass as you think, especially when it comes to economics. I want you to do me a favor, look back to the 80's when Mexico's peso dropped. Back then I was in high school when it started, I would go down to Mexico with my friends and we would buy bottles of booze down there because it was dirt cheap, and when we used American dollars, they would give us even more of discount. To even Mexicans, there currency was worthless to them, and American dollars was more secure than the peso so they would give you discounts for just using American dollars in exchange. Now imagine if the Arabs would go to the Euro and what it would do to the dollar. The dollar would become just like the peso back in the 80's, worthless. Anyone from my generation that visited Mexico back then will tell you same thing. I only wish people would study economics and actually learn something how the world works, because Trump is actually right, "the world is a very dangerous place," and we can be destroyed in a heartbeat, without a shot being fired.

TheFemaleCritic. After reading most of your counter comments, you definitely don't understand what you are talking about. #1. The players are most definitely disrespecting our country and the people that served and died for our country. Players can protest without giving a middle finger to our country, by joining marches, and using social media, and the news media as well in interviews to get their points across, without disrespecting others. #2. The owners have every right to decide the fate of their employees if they don't agree with their representation of their team or company coming from that employee. Trump just opened the door and told the owners to grow a backbone and do something about this, or it makes them look even worse than the players, a bunch of fearful yellow bellied cowards. #3. You are entitled to freedom of speech, but there is also consequences for using it especially on others folks time and payroll. Meaning if fans want to destroy the NFL, they can do it rather quickly. I personally stopped watching the NFL, and now watching colleges play.

It's me, Joolz It might work, because from my understanding the starvation in North Korea is worse than usual, and even the North Korean military is suffering. So I agree, extend an olive branch, this would make Kim look good to his own country while at the same time reminding North Koreans they don't have to starve, which might put even more pressure on Kim to denuclearize. I will take anything at this point to avoid war, because I have a few friends that fought over in Korea, and even know they call the Korean Conflict the forgotten war, they will never forget, because it really was that bad.

Vicky Newton Only a third work in agriculture, that means two thirds are not working in ranching or farming. You are also talking about a different time period, and most came here legally, including both sides of my family. So incase you did not know this, but it is 2018 and we can't handle the influx of out of control immigration. Do you even have the slightest clue to why everything is going up so greatly? "It is called supply and demand." My rent in the last few years has just about doubled, and long with other things, food, insurance and etc.. It is bad enough with our own population growth, but to add more will drive up prices even higher, putting more low income folks out on to the streets which we are starting to see more and more families also going to the street. If you remember correctly everyone of those illegals working for Trump also admitted they used phony documents to get the jobs. If you don't want to protect the country, that is fine, but that also makes you a traitor to the country, so get hell out.

@jasonrichardson1999 . Amen. I live almost right on the border, and I seen contractors abuse them, making them work 10 hours or more and only paying the for 8 hours. One fella was working for a garage as a mechanic and after two weeks of working the garage owner refused to pay them. Seen them work on their days off, and not getting paid for it, but if they complain the contractors will use the threat of calling out immigration on them. That is why I find it disgusting. I am all for a regulated guest worker program, because I know there are jobs that nobody wants to do, or just can't do, like agriculture is a bitch, because you have to move to where the harvesting is taking place, and once that harvest is done, you might have to relocate hundreds of miles away for another harvest, which is impossible for a family unit to do.

@TheHSIHP . You do realize that there is many different reasons why it works in the U.K., Australia, Japan and etc. First, most are islands that don't border other countries making it much harder to import weapons. Second they don't have the same attitude like our country has when it comes to criminal behavior. Lets face it, it is cool to be a thug here, going to prison is like getting accepted to Harvard. Heck they even promote prison life with tear drop tattoos on their faces. In countries like Japan, Australia, UK and etc.., they actually frown upon people that act like gangsters, thugs and criminals, but here people worship them. Do you think these thugs, gangsters are going to give up their guns when they don't obey laws to begin with?

Shariq Torres . For some strange reason your comment on the Texas invasion did not go in my email. The directive from the governor of Texas was not about an invasion and had you spent the time looking it up like I did. It was about keeping an eye on the military conducting their exercise that won't interfere with civil liberties, property damage and etc., nothing even remotely about invasion. That is embarrassing that you read Forbes as the only source for information. When Trump pulled out of the border conflict between the Kurds and Turks and people were cursing Trump for it, I actually spent my time looking up information about the conflict between the Kurds and Turks. You would be surprised what NATO and the UN were saying, and the fact the Turks were fed up with the terrorist attacks by the Kurds, and had gone to extreme lengths of complaining to the UN and NATO and anyone else that would listen. The fact is, the UN could have placed peacekeeping troops on the border would have never led to the invasion by Turkey. The United States already knew that some of the Kurd groups were labeled by our own country as terrorist that were committing terrorist attacks against Turkey, and we were still supplying them weapons? This all boils down to over a hundred year conflict between the Kurds wanting Turkish land for themselves. Bottom line the Kurds actually thought we would be stupid enough to fight their war with Turkey over friggin land. Thank god Trump was smart enough not to fall for it. Of course media wanted a war, so they could make more money off of stupid people by not telling them the truth. Did you hear about the battle between the Kurds and Turks at the a Kentucky gun show? ABC presented the video as actually footage between the Turks and the Kurds. Fox, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, WP, NY Times and including Forbes are fake news, don't base your opinions on their bias reporting.

@nathanmckenzie904 I am curious, are you a reasonable logical person that is capable of analyzing information, instead of allowing others to think for you? I am over a half a century old now, and I have watched the country not only grow in population, but also in diversity at an alarming rate. When I was a child growing up in San Diego, I remember Orange County while traveling through it had vast fields of oranges and lemons alongside the freeway, they all gone now replaced with houses and malls. Then here in San Diego I watched as more and more ranches, dairy farms, tomato fields avocado fields and etc. disappear and be replaced by more houses and malls. Then for fun, because I am single I decide to try out commercial driving over the road driving 18 wheelers to see the country other than just the west coast and met a lot of interesting folks in the country that also point out how much the where they live have grown. In the last four years I have watched my rent go from a thousand dollars for a two bedroom apartment to now seventeen hundred dollars with less and less places to rent, even know they keep building more homes and more apartments. That is called "supply and demand" there, and that is because there are more and more people willing to pay because they are desperate for a place to live and they have no other place to go. My own two eyes and the bills I have to pay tell me your Brookings stats are full of feces, and only people that can't think for themselves are buying that BS. Oh, why is it that Latin Americans are the majority of illegal immigrants in this country if so many folks are coming in by boat or plane and just overstaying their visas? I mean even you have to admit if Latin Americans are the majority of illegal immigrants in the country, then logic dictates you are being fed lies, because no way they are all coming in by plane, not even half of them are coming in by plane or boat. By the way where do you get the stats that there hasn't been breeches at the border? I seen hundreds in videos overwhelming the ports of entry at our southern border in the past which most definitely overwhelmed customs and border patrol. Also where do you get this ridiculous BS about immigration being down? Are you on the border registering illegals as they come across? You just bought some jackass making up BS stats that they can't even prove or defend on the amount of folks illegally crossing into the U.S.. I remember an illegal that was busted for a DUI and they just deported him, and it took him over 6 attempts to get back in the U.S. and finally he made it back. Don't recall him telling me he had to register with someone so they could get a statistics of how many illegals are crossing the border? Care to explain how they come up with the stats on illegal immigrants crossing the border? Look forward to your reply.

@nathanmckenzie904 LOL. You base your information from unbiased sources? That says it all. Let's see most illegals come in the way of visas, while the vast majority are Latin Americans??? Does that make any sense to you? Population growth is actually going down? Then why is it that everything is going up, and I don't mean just here in San Diego, but just about everywhere I traveled, including Kansas and the Midwest. Remember for a while I drove over the road, and I have been to all 48 states more than just once, and I talked to people and read newspapers and watched local news programs. If you looked up San Diego, did you read about how the fence virtually stopped border crime, and pushed illegal immigration out to our deserts and forced narcotics into tunnels or entry points instead of walking across the border at any given spot before the fence was built? Hell I lived on the border for a while before the fence was built and I knew people that would get paid $500.00 bucks for just carrying a backpack full of drugs across the border. It was really bad here but then the fence was built and it cut illegal immigration, narcotics, and really bad border crime down big time. But of course walls and fences don't work, right?

Kristen berer. I have zero military experience, but yet can take a .22 rifle at 50 yards and shoot straws in half, and mind you I am freestanding also, no bench rest. Same goes for larger caliber rifles at greater distances, and still no bench rest. Now when it comes to handguns, I am just okay. Jamming or misfires are dependent on the type of ammo, (Low quality ammo = jamming and misfires, while higher quality ammo a lot less jams and misfires.)also he might have hand loaded his own ammo, which is added quality control compared to over the counter ammo. Security did respond, but they were way over their heads on this one. I mean most of these security guards don't even pack a gun. I personally think that security and LVPD response was very reasonable considering how fast the situation developed. Let's face it, you might train for these situations, but the odds are most will never face these kind of situations in a lifetime, meaning it goes out the door as soon as the training is over with, so most are caught off guard when these kind of horrors do take place.

Kristen berer. He wasn't zeroing in on people, he was aiming into the crowd that had no clue what was happening until it was too late, and that is why there is not 500 dead and 58 or 59 wounded instead. You are looking for accuracy, which he was not aiming for. Now when it comes to weapons modification I do understand your point, but you have to realize also that some modifications do work and some don't. Now since he planned this out like a mission, I am sure he had lots of practice way beforehand, and fixed or just abandoned some gun modifications for another modification. It is called trial and error, until you get it right, surprisingly ammo can make all the difference also, because I can attest that one brand of ammo can work great in one gun, while the same ammo in another gun that is exactly the same doesn't work worth a damn. Bottom line, the Vegas shooter did his homework before he committed the horror.

@user9b2 . You being alright about this so I will be cool. For decades we have had a crisis on our southern border and over 80% of border patrol agents agree that they could use a wall because fences and barriers are not solid enough to hold large groups of people. Now lets get back to those experts, do they work for customs or border patrol? Have they ever worked along the border, or even live along the border like I do? How about this, there is an estimated 20 million or more illegal immigrants in the U.S. and the majority are Latin Americans, and only a third work in agriculture, while two thirds don't work in agriculture and a lot of those jobs like slaughter houses U.S. citizens use to work, but along comes Juan willing to work for half the money, while likely not paying taxes and yet costing taxpayers money, now do you think that is right? Do you think our less fortunate citizens should have to compete with illegals for a job? You do realize a lot of people want to work, but not all can be lawyers, doctors or airline pilots, meaning they need jobs and they shouldn't have to compete with none citizens to get those jobs. Last I read a majority do want a wall, especially those that voted for Trump which is why he is now president. The wall will never stop all illegal immigration or even the drug trade, but it will give us better control of our southern border, which is better than nothing. This ought to make you think, I knew one illegal immigrant that was busted for a DUI, they tossed him back across the border, he tried over and over to get back in the United States, finally about the 6th try he made it. Even the caravan people have said the same thing, if they don't get asylum they will enter the U.S. illegally.
When it comes to congress why don't they do what they should have done decades ago, and that is make E-Verify mandatory? How about congress enforcing existing laws on employers knowingly hiring illegal immigrants? If they did just those two things, we wouldn't need a wall, in fact illegal immigrants would self deport including the ones that have overstayed their visas, but instead of congress doing theirs jobs, they would rather waste taxpayer money fighting Trump's wall, do you even know why? They are the establishment puppets and the establishment wants their cheap slave labor at taxpayers expense. So they will bring in their so called jackass experts that are paid to say anything the establishment wants them to say. If you notice the media never talks about the San Diego fence and how successful it has been, I wonder why, so go look up the San Diego fence and you know why we want a wall now.
