@nathanmckenzie904 I am curious, are you a reasonable logical person that is capable of analyzing information, instead of allowing others to think for you? I am over a half a century old now, and I have watched the country not only grow in population, but also in diversity at an alarming rate. When I was a child growing up in San Diego, I remember Orange County while traveling through it had vast fields of oranges and lemons alongside the freeway, they all gone now replaced with houses and malls. Then here in San Diego I watched as more and more ranches, dairy farms, tomato fields avocado fields and etc. disappear and be replaced by more houses and malls. Then for fun, because I am single I decide to try out commercial driving over the road driving 18 wheelers to see the country other than just the west coast and met a lot of interesting folks in the country that also point out how much the where they live have grown. In the last four years I have watched my rent go from a thousand dollars for a two bedroom apartment to now seventeen hundred dollars with less and less places to rent, even know they keep building more homes and more apartments. That is called "supply and demand" there, and that is because there are more and more people willing to pay because they are desperate for a place to live and they have no other place to go. My own two eyes and the bills I have to pay tell me your Brookings stats are full of feces, and only people that can't think for themselves are buying that BS. Oh, why is it that Latin Americans are the majority of illegal immigrants in this country if so many folks are coming in by boat or plane and just overstaying their visas? I mean even you have to admit if Latin Americans are the majority of illegal immigrants in the country, then logic dictates you are being fed lies, because no way they are all coming in by plane, not even half of them are coming in by plane or boat. By the way where do you get the stats that there hasn't been breeches at the border? I seen hundreds in videos overwhelming the ports of entry at our southern border in the past which most definitely overwhelmed customs and border patrol. Also where do you get this ridiculous BS about immigration being down? Are you on the border registering illegals as they come across? You just bought some jackass making up BS stats that they can't even prove or defend on the amount of folks illegally crossing into the U.S.. I remember an illegal that was busted for a DUI and they just deported him, and it took him over 6 attempts to get back in the U.S. and finally he made it back. Don't recall him telling me he had to register with someone so they could get a statistics of how many illegals are crossing the border? Care to explain how they come up with the stats on illegal immigrants crossing the border? Look forward to your reply.

@nathanmckenzie904 LOL. You base your information from unbiased sources? That says it all. Let's see most illegals come in the way of visas, while the vast majority are Latin Americans??? Does that make any sense to you? Population growth is actually going down? Then why is it that everything is going up, and I don't mean just here in San Diego, but just about everywhere I traveled, including Kansas and the Midwest. Remember for a while I drove over the road, and I have been to all 48 states more than just once, and I talked to people and read newspapers and watched local news programs. If you looked up San Diego, did you read about how the fence virtually stopped border crime, and pushed illegal immigration out to our deserts and forced narcotics into tunnels or entry points instead of walking across the border at any given spot before the fence was built? Hell I lived on the border for a while before the fence was built and I knew people that would get paid $500.00 bucks for just carrying a backpack full of drugs across the border. It was really bad here but then the fence was built and it cut illegal immigration, narcotics, and really bad border crime down big time. But of course walls and fences don't work, right?
