Don't you remember we gave them U.S. jobs on the promise that it would slow illegal immigration, well NAFTA failed, and millions of hard working U.S. citizens lost jobs, while inflation continued to rise.  There is only so much we can do for Latin America and the rest of the world for that matter.  Please look up United States history, and you will find that our country faced many hardships.  My own grandmother told me stories of growing up in the coal fields and watching union representatives that were trying to bring in the union into the coal mines, being killed and seeing their bodies being dragged down the streets so to intimidate others who might be thinking of joining a union.  Unfortunately for change, Latin Americans will have to face a lot of the same horrors our own ancestors had to deal with, there is just no getting out of it, if they want to make their countries better.  Latin Americans have to stop running away from their problems if they want to make it better, but they refuse to do that, so now Trump will have to force them to face their problems.

How about building a wall for example.  Who do you think will come out better in the long run?  Mexico and Latin American countries have great potential, but they need to deal with their corrupt governments, and start controlling their growth better.  Yes it is better here, but that is because our ancestors fought to make it better place...

Well since you brought it up, how about this, what makes illegals that much better?  Most cant afford healthcare, so when they start popping out babies it is now on the taxpayers back.  How about them coming and working for cheaper, cutting U.S. citizens and even Uncle Sam out of money?  Someone has to make that money up, so it becomes more of a burden for middle income Americans.  They might be a little cheaper than refugees, but not by much.
