I feel for these folks but we can't take them all in without turning our country into the very place they are running away from.

@cutthechicken194 . Are you saying you want to make it even worse? Make our less fortunate citizens have to compete with basically foreigners in their own country for jobs and government assistance, housing. If you haven't noticed housing, fuel and food have been skyrocketing because there are more and more people causing a supply and demand problem, and adding more will make it even worse. Judge in San Francesco decided we can't throw the supposed asylum seekers back into Mexico, so who do you think will have to pay to support them? Are you made of money, because I am not.

@dihe1392 . Well the difference today is that we are countries now and unfortunately we have laws just like other countries do. So sorry, but the world is a lot smaller than it was a couple hundred years ago and we just can't do whatever we want anymore.

@dihe1392 . First off, I did not take part in the great Texas rebellion... Hell I wasn't even alive when it took place. When it comes to immigration it is not the color of the skin, it is about our sovereignty, and people that will be more of a burden than a blessing upon our society, which is unfair to the rest of the citizens to have to be taxed and compete with jobs, resources, and of course supply and demand.

From my understanding there is limits on immigration from country to our country so that all countries would be considered equal when it comes to immigration, which makes sense when you consider the country is supposed to be one big melting pot. Trump wants to change that to what most western countries are already practicing which is the merit system when it comes to immigration.

My comment was about how the immigration process somewhat works, and why some can get on the fast track while others don't, it has nothing to do with your family or where you are from. But you also right the immigration system is broken here. For example I am pretty sure you already know that folks that have money, get to cut in at the front of the line which is definitely not fair.

@dihe1392 . Take a economics course and apply what is taking place today. Homeless are growing, not getting smaller. Rents are already skyrocketing, now adding more people will only cause rents to go up further. They are not doctors, scientist, or engineers, they are toilet cleaners, shovel holders and etc.. We already have plenty of people to do that kind of work, so economically they are not a positive, but a negative economically. Then there are still companies closing and leaving the country, leaving thousands of unemployed, while Boeing screwed up royally which will probably cost Boeing employees and suppliers to lay off thousands of workers. There are a lot of other factors to list, but none of them have anything to do with racism either. Even Left news organizations are starting to call out the Democrats for their handing of the border crisis, meaning even they are starting to see the disaster unfold.

@dihe1392 . Homeless is just one factor I mentioned, which is definitely growing. About a month ago I was watching local news and they were showing grandmas living in their cars because they can't afford the rent even on social security. Why make it worse for everyone? Honestly I think you hate the country and just want to destroy it by pulling the race card. Get the fuk out if you hate the country so much.

My grandmother when she was a little girl grew up in the coal camps, she lost all three of her brothers before they ever got out of their teens to coal mining accidents, she also witnessed the mining company dragging bodies behind carts of people that tried to bring in the union so to put fear into the miners. Yet our citizens did not run away, they stood and fought for change and eventually accomplished those changes to make all of our lives better today. This problem will continue and even get worse and eventually turn our own country into the very place they are running away from, nothing is solved by running away.

Congress is the one that turned their back on the country when Trump tried to defend the country. The government shutdown is now entirely on the Democrat party that put illegals above our own citizens. Sad to think you would be a traitor to the country for putting illegals above our own president, while you ignore congress not willing to defend our own country.

What does racism have to do with the country being incapable of helping all these people? Already here in San Diego they are giving millions towards asylum seekers that was meant for our own homeless. Go play the race card BS somewhere else like MSNBC, they all Trump haters over there.

SPEAK UP. The majority do not support them crossing illegally and they certainly don't hirer, but we are sick of taxes being used to help support them when we have our own less fortunate citizens to look after.

International law requires them to seek asylum in the first country they enter, which is not the United States. We do not have to accept them period.

@rebeccaadams7627 . If the current rate they are coming at the country stays we will face a deep recession within the next 12 months. I truly believe the Left is sabotaging our country now for political purposes, because even left leaning news is pointing out the Democrats seem to have no plans on the border crisis, and nor are they even working on a plan to deal with the border situation.

Lv supervisor Power1 . Well Trump tried but congress refused to defend our country and they are the ones for the previous government shutdown, not Trump. I fully support Trump if and when he closes the border, and the situation is now so serious that the military involvement must take place because this is without a doubt an invasion of our country.

@carlosmartinez6722 . I live in San Diego, and I am over 50 now and I have never seen so much homeless in my lifetime here. A lot of them group together in like little caravans, but there are still the loners also, which was more the norm at one time.
