Hooyahfish. LOL. Watch in slow motion, Michael is down and unable to retreat and still Marquis took approximately three steps toward him and only started backing up when Michael started pulling his weapon. This still left Michael incapable of retreating because he would have to either holster his weapon or taking his weapon off of Marquis leaving him vulnerable again to physical assault. Sorry, but this was a clear case of self defense. All Michael had to say from start to finish was "he feared for his life" and that would have brought doubt in at least some of the juries minds.

@kaiyan1573 . He most definitely wasn't walking away or he would have been shot in the back instead of the front and he only took a few steps back which still left the man on the ground vulnerable and not really being able to retreat. Personally I am happy the violent thug is now gone because he had no right to assault him in the first place and you know damn well he would resort to violence again and maybe the next time he would assault a child or an elderly person.

This is actually great, two crazy violent thugs are now off our streets.
2
@CoastalEddieinflames . I don't really care because both of them were crazy violent thugs and they cancelled each other out making society a better place.

He did not pull the gun on her stupid fat ass.
1
Hopefully it is time served, because the thug should have never touched him in the first place.
1
@thinkcorrectly407 . They not going to give him any hard time, because if they do, he can appeal it because most of the criteria was met for self defense which is "I feared for my life." This would lead to doubt by some on the jury which destroys the case.
1
@thinkcorrectly407 . Trust me there are plenty of lawyers that will work for free because if they get him off, he becomes the commercial that never stops giving for the law firm.

She did not have a temp handicap tag.
1
Get you eyes checked, he did not have his hands up and he only backed up when the gun was pointed at him and assault is still assault.
1
@GiVer. This is one keyboard lawyer that wouldn't have lost the case and watch my client go to prison over a case of self defense. All the criteria was met for the use of self defense, because Michael most definitely had a reason to "fear for his life."
1
@tazman9954 . Michael lawyers fuked him because he most definitely had a case of self defense. All you have to do to the jury is to create doubt about Michael's intentions and he would have walked. Cops had nothing to do with this one.
1
@The_Highlander001 . She started it you fool by illegally parking in the handicap spot, had she not parked there, there would have been no altercation and the violent thug wouldn't have gotten killed.
1
@GiVer. Sorry the criteria was definitely met for "self defense" which would be enough to put some jurors minds in doubt. Going with SYG was plain stupidity. Had Zimmerman went with SYG he would be probably locked up in prison right now. SYG is not a very good law to use especially in self defense cases, especially when it is hard to retreat. Michael will spend less than a couple of years in prison because any longer he can appeal the case and this time he will get lawyers that will drop the SYG BS and go for self defense.
1
@The_Highlander001 . "The loser was looking for a fight?" Proof please, because you can say the same about the women deliberately parking in the handicap spot who started the whole incident and he won't go for more than two years because he can easily appeal the case on grounds that it wasn't SYG but self defense. He just got some shitty lawyers which happens.
1
@The_Highlander001 . Judge can sentence him longer, but in doing so the judge can ruin his reputation if Michael appeals and wins. That is why I figure the judge will only give him two years making it not worth the time to appeal the case.
1
@The_Highlander001 . Only if he is not granted an appeal, which is extremely doubtful because they tried him under the SYG law, which it wasn't SYG to begin with.
1
@The_Highlander001 . Oh lets hope he gets more than 5 years, then he can appeal his case and be back out in a couple of years.
1
@The_Highlander001 . Physical violence is wrong period no matter what color of skin. Quit condoning physical violence, especially when it is not called for and yes I am glad the thug is dead, and hope more that cause physical harm to others end up in the same place as Marquis McGlockton is now because that is the only way these dumb thugs learn is when the tables are turned on them.
1
@The_Highlander001 . LOL, I am in my mid 50's and I have never ever seen the inside of a jail except on TV. Don't you get it? My family and I don't go breaking laws like parking in a handicap space, nor do we resort to physical violence even when we have been wronged. All Marquis McGlockton and his women had to do was admit they were in the wrong and got in their car and left and nothing would have happened, but instead they had to argue and then commit assault when they were in the wrong.
1
Florida is not Detroit . Whether or not the car had a gun it still would have given Michael a chance to retreat from the situation had Marquis McGlockton went back to the car.
1
LAs Qtst. "pet peeves?" It is against the law and apparently you need the shit beat out of you, you disrespectful punk.
1
@thinkcorrectly407 . LOL, if you were to see me in person you would realize why most runaway when I approach them. I am not a very pretty sight to be hold and the odds are Marquis McGlockton wouldn't have touched me.
1
Junior Junior. Cry me a river, he got rid of an violent thug that deserved to be put down.

@mamdouhnaddaf2989 . If you want to live in the jungle fine, but here we are in a civilized society meaning jungle rules don't apply.
