Well it is apparent now that he had no clue where they were to begin with. Odds are his staff accidentally packed them up when he was leaving the white house.

@portlandgeek If the stories of them being mixed up with belonging to the point that even the FBI could not find them all. Kind of says that he doesn't know what he has or doesn't have.

@vet137 It seems like Trump did not know about them which can lead me to believe that the white house staff might of accidently packed them up not realizing it. Face it Trump was in the middle of fighting over the election results and the staff put it off thinking Trump might be staying and when he finally vacated the white house the staff was in a hurry and just started grabbing files not paying attention what they contain. Seen this happen many of times when helping to move friends, family, and myself.

@katienoneofyourbusiness1048 Actually sounds like it wasn't him the hid it, but it looks like the staff picked them up by accident probably in a hurry thinking Trump was going to find a way of overturning the election.
