@DonkeyLipsDA3rd . I am no socialist but Joe D. has a point that someone can afford to throw away ten billion dollars they can also afford higher taxes or better yet treat their workers better.

You do realize our emissions have gone down while the rest of the worlds countries have gone up and a lot of them signed onto the Paris Accord.

@bo64625 . Hell even that Zakria guy from CNN talked about it yesterday on Bernie's policy on controlling emissions Also what's the greenest places in the world bit? Some countries are committed but I know for a fact because I live on the west coast of the U.S. that most of our smog is coming from China. Bottom line how do we control other countries emissions if they choose not to?

@yuezhang . Amen. So many of these climate people promised to fix the problem, but after they got the money they ran and did not employ a signal person.

@yuezhang . Products are based on demand by the consumer and if the consumer wants plastic straws instead of going through the hassle of cleaning them, then someone will supply that demand for plastic straws, because if they don't someone else will. Kind of sad that so many blame businesses and corporations for what consumers created in the first place.
