Well it is costing us 130 billion and it is increasing every year, so we can make up the difference by building the wall, while Mexico finally has to do something about it's poor, instead of dumping them on the U.S..

@Sidmen2200 . How do you know what the majority thinks? CNN, FOX, ABC and etc.??? I have actually heard recent polls suggest most U.S. citizens do support a wall, in fact we know it is pretty much half the country or Trump wouldn't have been elected, "right?"

Both Republicans and Democrats were for illegal immigration before Trump showed up, they just pretended they were against it. Both sides have had for decades to end illegal immigration by just making E-Verify mandatory and enforcing our existing laws of prosecuting employers that knowingly hirer illegal immigrants. They would all self deport, including the ones that overstayed their visas. "No wall needed." But both sides don't want to do that, instead they would rather fight Trump's border wall, and that is exactly why I voted for Trump. Congressional leaders on both sides have sold out the country to the wealthy so they can have their cheap slave labor at taxpayers expense.

@Sidmen2200 . You know as well as the rest of us know that the Left and Right won't support making E-Verify mandatory, and hell they won't even prosecute employers for knowingly hirer illegal immigrants, even know the laws are in place to prosecute. What choice do we have left?

What part do you not understand, illegal immigrants employed by Trump's company admitted again on national TV that they used false documents to obtain those jobs from Trump's company. You can try to spin it anyway you like but it still doesn't dismiss they used false documents. You know if the Democrats wanted to along with the Republicans can destroy Trump's wall overnight by one making E-Verify MANDATORY, and start enforcing the law that is already on the books to prosecute employers that knowingly hirer illegal immigrants. The majority of illegal immigrants would self deport including those that have overstayed their visas, but instead congress would rather waste taxpayers time and money fighting Trump over the wall instead of protecting our country from illegal immigration. The only reason I voted for Trump is because congress refuses to do their jobs, because they have sold out to the rich who want their cheap slave labor at taxpayers expense.

For decades we have had a crisis on our southern border and over 80% of border patrol agents agree that they could use a wall because fences and barriers are not solid enough to hold large groups of people. Now lets get back to those experts, do they work for customs or border patrol? Have they ever worked along the border, or even live along the border like I do? How about this, there is an estimated 20 million or more illegal immigrants in the U.S. and the majority are Latin Americans, and only a third work in agriculture, while two thirds don't work in agriculture and a lot of those jobs like slaughter houses U.S. citizens use to work, but along comes Juan willing to work for half the money, while likely not paying taxes and yet costing taxpayers money, now do you think that is right? Do you think our less fortunate citizens should have to compete with illegals for a job? You do realize a lot of people want to work, but not all can be lawyers, doctors or airline pilots, meaning they need jobs and they shouldn't have to compete with none citizens to get those jobs. Last I read a majority do want a wall, especially those that voted for Trump which is why he is now president. The wall will never stop all illegal immigration or even the drug trade, but it will give us better control of our southern border, which is better than nothing. This ought to make you think, I knew one illegal immigrant that was busted for a DUI, they tossed him back across the border, he tried over and over to get back in the United States, finally about the 6th try he made it. Even the caravan people have said the same thing, if they don't get asylum they will enter the U.S. illegally. When it comes to congress why don't they do what they should have done decades ago, and that is make E-Verify mandatory? How about congress enforcing existing laws on employers knowingly hiring illegal immigrants? If they did just those two things, we wouldn't need a wall, in fact illegal immigrants would self deport including the ones that have overstayed their visas, but instead of congress doing theirs jobs, they would rather waste taxpayer money fighting Trump's wall, do you even know why? They are the establishment puppets and the establishment wants their cheap slave labor at taxpayers expense. So they will bring in their so called jackass experts that are paid to say anything the establishment wants them to say. If you notice the media never talks about the San Diego fence and how successful it has been, I wonder why, so go look up the San Diego fence and you know why we want a wall now.

@ASRMN27 . Now you just trying to make excuses for the fence actually working, it severely cut border crime, and moved illegal immigration out to our eastern desert. Nothing is full proof, but it will give our country better control over the border which includes cutting down on illegal immigration. The truth is that we really don't need a border wall if congress would get off the establishments tit and make E-Verify mandatory, and start prosecuting employers that knowingly hirer illegals which by the way is a law on our books but both sides of congress refuse to enforce it. Most illegal immigrants would self deport, including the ones that overstayed their visas. But no, I representatives would rather fight Trump over a wall than do their jobs. By the way, I strongly believe we need a guest worker program, this would benefit both the immigrants and the citizens of this country. One it would keep bad employers from screwing over illegal immigrants, like they currently do now. Also this will help our own citizens by controlling the labor force and even bring in more taxes for the government all the way around.

@ASRMN27 . Look we can debate this until the wall is built, because the United States will have to build a wall, because we just can't keep taking in all these people without destroying ourselves. You know this as well everyone else does, it is just a matter of time.

@ASRMN27 . Couple of weeks ago a group of illegals in a full size truck crashed through the fence, fortunately they did not get away from our border patrol. Border patrol needs something more solid than a fence or barriers. As I said before, I would prefer congress to do their jobs of enforcing our laws on employers knowingly employing illegals which they are currently not doing even know the law is on the books, and make E-Verify mandatory. Most would self deport including the visa overstayers. Way better than a fence or a wall, but you will have to talk to your representative to why they refuse to do that? Then maybe you would understand why Trump wants to build the wall, because congress has sold out our country and would rather fight Trump over the wall than do what the people asked them to do.
