Sorry folks, when you go to other countries, you play by their rules or you can get badly hurt and Otto Warmbier is proof of that.

AdoptABlackCat. You probably got 50 cats with zero family or friends.

Marta Kalina. You go to another foreign country, you play by their rules, or expect to get badly hurt or killed even if it is a lame poster.

Marta Kalina. It is not about it being justifiable, it is about going to any foreign country and not playing by their rules, whether you like their rules or not, because you must abide by them or face sometimes very serious consequences for disobeying them.

Yes Man. How many times have you put down others for their stupidity? I mean say someone ignores the signs "road closed ahead due to flooding," but ignores and continues to try to cross a river, which gets them killed. Where you actually sympathetic towards the family/friends and their loss? 90% of what I have seen on the internet calls them idiots, Darwin award winners, improving the gene pool, and etc.. As long as you are not a part of that, then I can respect your comment, but to give one idiot sympathy over the next idiot is ridiculous, and also being a hypocrite.

Marta Kalina. You can't be serious? Those poor Islamic women are born into that nightmare, whether they want it or not. Otto Warmbier made two stupid choices, and the key words are "two stupid choices." I wouldn't go to North Korea for a million bucks, for obvious reasons, and even if I did go, I would be minding my "P's" and "Q's" the whole time I was there, and no way in hell would it even cross my mind of stealing a banner or poster. That was absolutely lunacy.

Otto lacked commonsense, which got him killed, while foresight is not to go to North Korea in the first place. You can complain and bitch all you want about King jong-un, but he most definitely came with a warning tag ahead of time. Even top college professors and others are coming out and saying Otto most definitely screwed up royally.

Marta Kalina. I can agree with you on the point that no one deserves to die, but come on, you choose to ignore the red flag, warnings signs, or you open your door to stranger and let them in, you are not going to get much sympathy. There is always consequences for our actions, and we shouldn't go blaming others for our actions.

Mart Kalina. You know many would beg to differ when it comes to murder because he was alive when he came home, meaning he did not die at the hands of captors, and because the family won't allow a autopsy, and when you include his own ignorance, some would say it was his fault.
