  1. That is possible, but it wouldn't surprise a mule deer caused the driver to swerve and lose control of the bus either.

  2. I use to live down in Kanab. I was thinking it was possible the driver swerved because of a mule deer? What do you think?

  3. I use to live in the area and even minor accidents could lead to death because there is just no hospitals nearby and it can take hours even with life flight to get to a hospital.

  4. I lived in the area and a lot of people will swerve off a cliff instead of hitting a mule deer. So that is possible.

  5.  @brandon8987 . Unfortunately most don't think that way, they afraid of killing the deer so they will take out a tree instead, except the tree wins. A lot of people (Mostly tourist.) have died in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah and we just don't have any major hospitals nearby because the communities are so small and can't support them. (Mostly ranching and some mining for minerals, lumber and the major source for the economy is tourism.)
