Something the people who use private healthcare don't seem to understand is that if the NHS goes down their bills will go up too because a lot of private healthcare relies on the NHS for training, facilities, and equipment.

@Spac3d1 my Dad worked for the NHS and yes you're right it was John Major that brought in PFI. Before that Thatcher contracted out the catering and cleaning (did someone say MRSA 🤔). Several private contracts completed under Blair were committed to and started by Major (e.g. Chepstow hospital).
