It's interesting how last year many people said we would never rejoin, a few weeks ago someone said that it wouldn't happen within 25 years, and now you're saying that it wouldn't happen within 10 years. 🤔

I agree it will take a long time and won't be easy but a lot can happen in 12 years. Think back to how difficult things were in early 2011.

@SRFriso94 I agree but it's inevitable that the UK will rejoin in some capacity. Also the chaos that the UK has inflicted on itself has ended the possibility of a revolving door scenario.

@roisinmalone3015 it's almost inevitable that the UK (or part of) it will join in some capacity. It might take 12 years it might take 25 but it'll happen. Unicorns have nothing to do with it.

@roisinmalone3015 Scotland and N Ireland rejoining the EU would count as "the UK rejoining in some capacity".

@roisinmalone3015 yep, like I wrote "in some capacity". The UK includes four separate countries which may indeed go their separate ways. It's not all about England. Regardless, it's inevitable that England will also eventually want back in to the common market. Could be 12 years, could be 20, could be more.

@roisinmalone3015 the UK currently refers to England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. It's inevitable that some, or all, of those political entities will realign themselves with Europe in some capacity.
