  1. Something that isn't pointed out enough is that private healthcare benefits hugely from NHS facilities and staff trained by the NHS. If the government gets rid of the NHS it will mean that private healthcare will go up in price.

  4. Are you sure that aren't remembering the wooden slated *floors*? I've lived in London since 1997 and never seen or heard of wooden seats before. Or perhaps the seats had been damaged to reveal wood underneath?
