 @jfess1911 Context kind of difficult for people to follow? Original post: "My fuel already comes filled with water from the gas station pump". It was a humor, a joke. My followup to that was also said tongue-in-cheek, as in, don't be dumping water into your gasoline tank and trying to mix it where it shouldn't be mixed (ie. liquid state).

Looks like you need some quality V-band style clamps on your charge plumbing. AND GET AIR TO YOUR I/C!! The issue of water injection keeping engines clean? Yes, to a point. Now with direct-injection we have the issue of carbon building up on the intake valve area due to the lack of gasoline detergent being passed through this area. While water injection will scrub the combustion chamber, I doubt it would take care of the carbon build up in the intake areas of DI-only engines.

 @jfess1911 Sounds a little bit like the toxic slurry that is jet fuel these days; a hundred additives for a hundred desired outcomes, non of which is the health of the stratosphere or human health.
