  1. Hi, I'm a biologist, maybe I can help. The particular microbes found in the blobs were specific ones used as agriculture pest control. Also, there was a government agricultural research agency right next to the town. I think they did some experimental crop dusting, and did the wrong coordinates. And because it's the government, they decided to lie low and not claim responsibility.
