  3. Normally I'd agree, but there ARE innocent people that are on death row, and when you're shot in the heart, it's actually a rather prolonged, painful death. If they shot 'em in the head that's one thing, but that's not what they aim for.

  4. Exactly. By aiming for the heart and not the head they are guaranteeing a slow and painful death, whereas brain death is instant.
