And they didn't even try to charge him. His other victims would have been saved if the cops had tried even a little bit to find a reason to charge him. Why wasn't he kept under surveillance after the first assault? Why was he released so early after trying to merk a woman?

Or you might have stopped him from going after her seeing another person approach, and your dog prevented you from saving her life. She might still be alive if not for your dog.

@AnaAndYari Dogs can't "sense evil" any more than a goldfish can. Their sense of smell and hearing are unbelievably strong, it could probably smell something was off. Wanna know who else had a dog? Dennis Nilsen. So did John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz, Dennis Rader, Ted Bundy, and that German guy with a mustache that youtube won't let me say the name of. And yet none of them sensed the evil in them, because they are normal animals, not magical beings with ESP.
