  8. This is the same episode with Sassy the Swan. As a former vet student I'm worried the vet tech put the tube in his trachea, not the crop. She said she "felt resistance", which is indicative of tracheal tissue. The vet tech killed Sassy.

  10. They do. We use a shot of lidocaine on them. This is an edited clip, and vets know what they're doing.

  14. They're not. Unfortunately many turtles and tortoises suffer from pyramiding, which is when improper care results in abnormal growth of the shell plates and forcing them upward like that.
