  28. I remember seeing something like this, only he survived. He's mostly silent until the end, where he only had enough time to say "Uhhh....BYE." He'd explained in an interview that he thought he was about to become past tense, and he wanted to say some poignant final words to his family, but his mind was racing so much he ran out of time and all he could think to say was "BYE". It's kinda humorous in hindsight, but for real, I'm glad he survived. It's a shame this poor bloke didn't. 😢

  29. I don't understand why we don't euthanize late stage Alzheimer's patients. Three years, he persisted, locked in the terror of his own fading mind. I can't imagine a worse heII. Alzheimer's patients eventually die of asphyxia or choking, they literally forget how to breathe, how to swallow. It is...never a pleasant or quiet death.

  30. The issue with that is by that point we knew the exact circumference of the earth, and had for like, hundreds of years. So there's really no excuse to be wrong, even by a small margin.

  31. Not just that, it's so loud that it makes it impossible for the whales and dolphins' own sonar to be heard. So they get disoriented, and often end up going in the wrong direction and end up on the beach.
