  2. I'm a zoologist, and there's an adorable fish fact that few know about: fish sing like birds do, and for the same reasons. If you put a hydrophone in the water early in the morning, you'll hear a symphony of clicks and hums from all the fish, communicating to one another. They are far more advanced and social than most people are willing to give them credit for.

  3. ​ @sharonkaczorowski8690  You don't have to be vegan. I'm not. But I do try to do my homework and only buy meat from small, local farms where the animals are allowed to roam free and are typically harvested instantly out in the field, so they're none the wiser.
