  1. You're wrong, because you're forgetting a key element that the mythbusters didn't: The Empire State building creates its own wind. Because it's so tall, air hits it and creates updrafts, which would cause any projectile with a flat surface to tumble end over end. It is impossible for a coin to maintain its trajectory and remain vertical.
