@TheAmazingest I wish I could say I was surprised. Grape is never taken seriously by the justice system, only .01% ever see a courtroom. Of that abysmal number, only 57% of those end in a conviction. So .005% of all grape actually ends in a conviction. A number so low that it's statistically null. And yet men still think the miniscule number of false reports (statistically <1%) are much worse than the 99.95% of grapes (99% of which are done by men) that never see justice. Even though they're not going to be arrested, let alone brought to trial. That doesn't make it right, of course not, but it's staggering to me how they think the infinitesimally minute chance of a hypothetical situation happening to them is worse than what these millions of actual grape victims have been through.

This is such an insult to the families. Unless the victims' families agreed to the plea deal, of course, but if it was my family member I sure wouldn't. The dude will get out when he's in his early 30s, plenty of time to still live his life. Something his victims will never get to do.
