I completely disagree. She knew EXACTLY who he was, and was happy to aid and abet him before he got caught. He even left her alone for several hours after they got home, and yet she still didn't call the police. Also, she was legally obligated to testify, they weren't married, so spousal privilege doesn't apply. Same applies to the interrogation. You don't get brownie points for doing the bare minimum of basic human decency, especially if it's done only after you've exhausted every other option.

@CS-yq8hp I agree with this. First, she refused to call the police. Then she stood by this guy having personally witnessed what he did. Then she calls him in prison, cooing and agreeing with his statements, stroking his ego. IF she was sooooo scared of this guy, you'd think she'd avoid him like the plague knowing he was safely locked up behind bars, not calling him dutifully to comfort him. And no, she's not a saint for testifying. She had no choice BUT to testify! They're not married! She HAD to!

@aegiscaleb A decent person would have called the police. A decent person wouldn't have stuck by a murderer and dutifully called him to stroke his ego and tell him he was totally justified in murdering children.

She not doing it because it's the right thing to do, she's only doing it because she'll be arrested if she doesn't. That doesn't make her a good person. A good person would have called the police. A good person wouldn't be calling him behind bars cooing at him and stroking his ego.

No props at all, she had no choice. There were eye witnesses and they're on video tape, she's only being truthful because they got caught and she knows she's going to prison too if she lies. And she only testified because she had to. Legally, she had no choice, it was either testify or go to jail. She's not a good person for doing that.

She didn't call the cops, didn't do anything, I don't know why you're all fawning over her when she stood by that man even after he did that he did. "Oh but she told the truth", since when do they give medals for doing what you're supposed to do? She had no choice but to do that, she only spoke to the cops cuz she was scared of being charged as an accessory. She doesn't care about those kids at all. She also had no choice but to testify, they weren't married and so she was subpoenaed. Did you not pay attention to that phone call in the beginning? She condones what he did. ....Because they have access to those databases, you donut. If they had a record, they would know. And Dunn was trying to portray them as "thugs", which they weren't. They were just a bunch of rowdy kids that Dunn attacked because of their skin color.

That opening phone call made my blood boil. He doesn't even regard black people as human. And that basic waif of a woman is no better, she did nothing but meekly agree with every vile, dehumanizing, despicably racist thing he said!

What's so honest about being forced to testify? She was his girlfriend, not his wife. She wasn't doing this because she wanted to, if she didn't she'd have gotten arrested for contempt of court. She's not a victim in the slightest. She's the one supporting that murderer.

SHE HAD NO CHOICE. They'd have charged her if she didn't tell the truth, why are you all fawning over her when she didn't do anything noteworthy at all? She stood by this guy, even after what he did. She condoned his actions. She didn't call the cops at all after the incident, not even when Dunn left her alone for an hour to go get food. Doing the right thing because you have to is not worthy of praise. Are your standards seriously that low?

I don't understand all these people in the comments fawning all over Rhonda. She stood by Dunn after what he did. She refused to call the police after the incident, even though had plenty of time to do so, and she only testified because she had no choice. She doesn't care about those boys, she even said "let's go" to Dunn when he got back in the car. She's lucky she wasn't charged with obstruction and fleeing the scene.

She had the perfect opportunity to do so in that moment, but she didn't, because she wanted him to get away with it just as much as he did. Don't say it was fear of him either, cuz she stayed with him for three years, and even after he was arrested and had no way to hurt her, she still dutifully called him in prison to stroke his ego and reassure him that he was totally justified to shoot those kids. So stop acting like Rhonda's a good person, she quite clearly is not.

She knew he was racist, stayed with him, and only went to the cops cuz she was terrified of being charged as an accessory. She's not a good person.
