  1. It was a huge let down for me, especially the ending. It also got really, reeeeeaaally annoying to see wave after wave of man-hating feminazi bad guys with no variation at all. I couldn't tell if it was the author Brian Vaughan venting some deep-seated hatred of pussy, or if he just plain got lazy with his writing.

  4. You're joking, right? Crossed? The world's most disgusting, depraved, psychotic piece of garbage ever to get a green light from a publisher? THAT'S what you want to see made into a movie? It has no plot whatsoever and only exists to gross people out. And we already have the SAW films for that.

  6. TRANSMETROPOLITAN!!! How can that not be on this list? Also, Batman Year 100. Yeah, it's a major character but it's non-canon and by Paul Pope, a friggin' god of indie comics.

  7. 1) JTHM is overrated. 2) "Too dark for adaptation" is an understatement. 3) Jhonen Vasquez would never let that happen in a million years. 4) He's also the world's biggest prick and he's kind of had a wee mental breakdown lately.

  8. I LOVE that comic! But ...I dunno, I can't see that translating to the big screen. Especially once the second Angelus comes into play, not to mention Witchblade. :/ I did like the first video game, though.

  9. Smart choice. :p The first half of the story revolves around the guy trying to get to Australia to rescue his girlfriend, only to find (spoilers) ....she was cheating on him with another woman the entire time. Classy.
