  1. Spoiler: You put 9/11 as #1. Again. Why? Of all the televised events in all of history, that were NOT live broadcasts, you don't think the moment we touched the moon, or Mars, or the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr, mattered more than an entry you'd already listed?

  2. I honestly don't know which is objectively worse, 9/11 or the images of the Japan earthquake. On one hand, one was a vicious act made by our fellow man, but on the other, one was an event in which we saw over 15.000 people die and are still feeling its effects to this day. I need a drink.

  4. ***** Here's a good one: Roughly 125,000 CIVILIAN deaths. Mind you, we're targeting innocents with our drones. Those nuimbers differ across the board dpending on which source, but Wikipedia, NPR. NY Times, and the guardian all report similar statistics. Look, sweets. My OP was in no way meant to be a "US sucks" post. But seeing your awful behavior is only making all Americans look like monsters, even moreso than we already are. Please, stop this.
