  3. My partner's mother is like this. She's very melodramatic and when she's a passenger in mine or her son's car, she will place her feet on the dashboard to "brace" herself as a passive aggressive way of saying she's convinced you're going to cause a crash, no matter how slowly or carefully you're driving. We've told her that doing this will cause her entire lower body to turn into giblets if there WAS an accident, but of course, she won't listen. I admit, part of me wishes there WOULD be an accident while she's doing that just to teach her a lesson. I know that's messed up, but my god she can be insufferable sometimes.
